Suffered from it for nearly 35 years now, being a Bolton fan doesn't help much though.

Living in Nottingham for 25yrs probably didn't either 😊

And being called Rex :D

Next for neighbour was called Rex. He was the guy you could rely on to give you a bollocking when your ball went into his garden; which it often did.

Things came to a head when all the kids were stood on his wall shouting Zieg Heil! with arms raised, Hitler style.

We all got a proper bollocking from our own dad's for that little stunt but I think it made a point.

If anyone is around 60 and former pupil of Castle Hill Secondary school he was a maths teacher there. Proper cunt.

Heard today we lost another wanderer who some of you may know.

Neil Smethurst, known as Smeg took his own life earlier in the week.

Only knew him to nod too, myself but you’d see him everywhere. All Miami’s fun busses and Euro jollies. Good Mates with randy west off here and all the ESL regulars that stand near smiley etc.

Apparently had struggles for a quite a time and finally lost the battle.

Absolutely terrible.

If your struggling folks, let someone know.

He was a top lad, very funny, and so likeable.

I know his brother better, went to Munich & Madrid with him.

He had his demons for a long time.

The family are devastated, obviously.

RIP Smegs xx

Getting there slowly mate. Just accepted an offer on her house so planning to go to Thailand for a year or two teaching English before returning and moving to Manc. I’d rather she didn’t head East but she reckons that will help her as she loves the country

Will do her the world of good mate and get her out the rate face. Wonderful country with wonderful people. Will be the making of her. If you want a chum to go over and visit with just tell A it’s not her scene and tell her I will accompany you. I’m sure she will love that 😁
