I think most people knew the answer, but we were all wondering where the fuck he was going with the question.

' most people knew the answer', did they, including you? So when the questioner stopped to ask if anyone in the room knew how the building of the Reebok had been funded, why didn't you answer? Why did nobody answer?

And why, in an article published in the BN in August 2018 when Ken Anderson was trying to get Eddie Davies to stump up another £5m to pay off Blumarble, did Marc Iles claim that Gordon Hargreaves had funded the Reebok?

And one other thing, why was that person's follow-up question the ONLY question that was applauded on the night?

I did know the answer, but I was more interested in finding out where he was going with it.

I assumed he was being rhetorical with a view to going somewhere else, which he was.

PS Much as I assume you're actually going somewhere with this too?

Got three great seats together in North Upper, won't be able to get anything similar by picking around the unwanted seats in the lower tiers along with a few thousand others. Starting moving folk from where they want to be to where that don't is a high risk strategy IMO.

Maybe I missed it elsewhere, but what have the club said about consulting the fans? I don't mean at a meeting but by emailing every ST holder in Upper tiers with a link to a questionnaire? If we go down (and whatever anyone thinks about the exact odds, there's no getting round the fact it's a fair possibility all things considered) then that adds extra challenge to encouraging renewals and if people think they can't be where they want for the season in lowest division (assuming we get out of it first time) then not renewing puts them on the slippery slope of breaking the habit. If they're thinking "we'll renew when we get back up" then maybe they will...but maybe they'll also find they can live without it or indeed without a game every other saturday.

Thats Pandoras box well and truly opened - we are now going to get pages and pages of financial drivel from these 2 boring cnuts

Who gives a fcuk that no one at lancaster Whites meeting knew how Reebok was funded?

I hold my hands up and say I dont  - or cant remember -- have been watching since early sixties, and not really interested in financial arrangements from over 20 years ago - all that is behind us - we have new owners - move on!!

Agree with all you have said there but from my position in WSL - looking at ESU - there cant be much more then 100 people up there - what if that drops to 20 or so - not financially viable.

Also other clubs have closed various parts of the ground, or swapped sections to house away fans -

New owners, yes. Pleased about that but have you thought about whether the £5m Eddie stumped up to pay off Blumarble, three days before he died, has been repaid or whether its still propping up FV?

Ace, all this time the best supporters at the club doesn't even know what stand he sits in 😂 😂 😂

I know exactly which stand I sit in, I sit there every week.

I also said best customers, not supporters. Big difference.

But then being a clever lad, you’d already know that 😃

Hi mick,

Why do you think that ESU are best customers?

TIA

Me, me. I'll answer that

<Hand up in air and trying to fold my arms and sit up straight at the same time>

It's because they all do their best to add to the atmosphere by chanting and lots of clapping. Flags waving, the lot.

Cracking fans. And they pay a few pence more than everyone else in the ground.

No, sorry. I don't know.
