Protect the olds. I was offered one for £15 by the pharmacist well before gp rang, so must have been plenty available. It was just with folk using flu vaccine as a comparable I found it odd as they are completely different. Unless mhra has agreed now, the large packs cannot be split for such distribution, so have to go to the hospital hubs. In an effort to keep the surgery available for use by those who need to attend, I’d already accepted my local pharmacist’s invitation. Both the phone callers from my doctor’s were told I’d already had it at the chemist. But im No expert and this is the closest I will get to having the vaccine talking about it on here anyway. the logistics will be the hard bit. This Pfizer one has to be 'defrosted' from deep freeze and can then be stored in a fridge for a few days during which it needs to be used. Hence hubs being set up with proper storage.
