wiggy Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 So the people who don’t want to do this? What exactly would you suggest we do? Given where we are now Quote
Boby Brno Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Number of new cases today are down compared with this time last week. I said earlier this week that it seems to be levelling off. Some say he’s left it too late. Maybe the restrictions are working and he’s done it too soon. I’m not an expert and neither is anyone else on here. Apart from Peely. Quote
ErnestTurnip Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 My eldest can be at uni and live with 100s of other people, go into college, go into work at an essential business, exercise with one of their mates from a different household but can't go in a shop and buy a yankee candle or go to a pub and have a beer with the same person they work with and live on the same floor as. To be fair to Peely don't think he ever claimed to be an expert just said he'd once had involvement in microbiology. Quote

ErnestTurnip Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 I'd have to have another look but one of my kids said that looking at the info in the presentation if you lived in Cornwall and had a business of any kind then there is no chance you'd be closing whether you were a pub or a hat shop.
