As for test and trace, I have been called 4 times now at home by t&t. First time was because the missus tested positive and I was a contact.  The other 3 was to check I was OK after testing positive and isolating as I should be. I have also had 12 text messages regarding isolating plus support and help on offer.  It has been pretty good to be honest, they are finally getting there it would seem.  Their last call said they would ring on my last day of isolation to check all is well before going out again so that will be 5 calls in total.

Woah not at all. Im just saying folk keep blaming the rise on folk not obeying rules when in reality its mainly down to relaxation of rules and the contradictory mish mash of rules currently in place.

Whats happening now was always going to happen. I agree with the current decision, the half in half out bollocks doesnt work and either does wearing masks.

Its just two weeks too late imo.

Id be keeping gyms open though. Theyre safer than supermarkets and as necessary.

Agree re gyms. Safest place I’ve been in an indoor setting. Plus essential for mental health 

 

thing is this lockdown will slow it but it’s not a lockdown. If we are doing it do what Spider said and operation hibernate.

These are the positive tests though, decision today is based upon other things like ons data suggesting cases are much higher and projections of hospitalisations and deaths.

North east does show some flattening, and it maybe that tier 3 would work eventually, but doesn't appear to be doing so quickly enough.

I am. Id be letting ride if it was up to me. We're just going to end up back in the same place next time restrictions are relaxed.

However if they are going to fanny about with tiers and strangle businesses and bollocks everyones heads with different rules and contradictory bullshit then they may as well crack on lockdown proper and pay the money.

Everyone knows what theyre meant to be doing and we can get these made up figures down so we can all at least have some kind of xmas ready for the cycle to start all over again and we end up back to now in February.
