That’s your opinion, until this plays out no one knows if our experts fucked up or not.

We're doing what everybody else did but 2 weeks later. How can it go any better?

They've backtracked on pretty much everything they laid out in the first press conference. Says to me they got it wrong first time round

It’s evolving. It’s changing.

I for one am glad I’ve not been locked down and I am quite happy with what they’ve done. What I can’t do is say they have got it right cos nobody fucking knows. Not even a genius such as yourself sadly.

When did Italy lock down? When did France lock down? Massive timing difference. Macron has fucked it up as well aye?

not one country has taken the same steps on the same day. But you won’t see this in your quest to find fault

Think you’ll find our numbers are 2/3 Weeks behind where Italy was, it’s not certain our numbers will increase in line with Italy,  locking down was part of the original plan as was closing schools.

We'll see. I'm predicting history will be look on this as an absolute fuck up.

What sort of cunt would do this...

We’ll not know which country’s experiment was most successful for a long time

South Korea look good, but it’s probably not even half time yet

But we weren't at the same place as everybody else 2 weeks ago.

I think what we're seeing is a gradual shutdown of the country in carefully measured stages. If that's the case then I think the government and their experts have called it right. We won't know however, until after the event. That could be 12 months from now.

Explain this to me.

If our numbers are 2/3  behind Italy, wouldn't it have been an idea to think, 'fuck, we've got that coming, let's try avoid it?'

We lock down when say 30k had it, as opposed to 2 weeks later when say 60k have it, what do you reckon the better outcome would be?

I assume this means nurseries as well?

I think Boris said that state schools will close and that they are asking private schools and nurseries to do so. Going to collect the little ones shortly. Will ask, but I expect they won’t be able to answer until they have chance to digest (and hear from head office).

Lockdown just kicks can down the road, the consequences of the lockdown are massive and these have to be taken into account and these decisions are tough judgement calls. I’m happy at the pace these decisions have been made and pray that we will not suffer the same fate as Italy.

475 deaths in Italy today. The largest of any country in one day. No one knows what is right or wrong. Every country is learning as this crisis deepens.
