That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

I don't have a job secured for September so need to start looking now :(

I'm on long term cover. I've had part time, then 2 terms and now 2 terms... Schools don't want to commit to another full time teacher and try to cover with fixed term, Very wrong..

I've no doubt I will get another job no problem. Maths teachers are hard to come by.

I’ve a job for you on the upholstery front if you have all the gear still and want/able to travel? Happy to pay your fuel on top to help a fellow poster out

We’ve been in quarantined lockdown in our hotel room since Sunday afternoon. I can tell you now this ain’t no fun.
With a toddler who doesn’t understand why we cannot go to the beach, pool, kids club, restaurant. Why we are being shouted at when we step foot off our patio onto the grass. Breaking my heart.
We’ve had the threat of military intervention today if the ministry of health declare that there are too many security breaches (I foolishly sneaked out early doors for a run down the beach).

We’ve seen guests leaving with cases and then returning a few hours later.

Fucked up situ. And I’m climbing the walls. We’ve only got BBC World New or CNN in English on TV. And they are far from a bundle of laughs!

Trying to stay positive.

Plenty chat of lockdown on Thursday, but some of these posts are accompanied by photos of the wrong army and from years ago so it’s probably bollocks.

Finished shift 10 of 10. Two days off now and I've stupidly offered to come into work and help if needed on those days.

I think a lot of people are going to have to take up some sort of position helping the NHS. Whether it's voluntary or paid or whatever. Can see massive upscaling of staff to try and cope with demand.

These isolation requirement need dropping for NHS staff. There's going to be too many of us off at any one point. Should be instant testing at the first sign of a cough for NHS staff - so that we can carry on working if it's a negative. Can't see how we can possibly carry on otherwise.

Yeah signed myself up for some voluntary hours . See what I can do
