capitalistic bastard

One things for sure, we are racking up a shit load of debt here, it will make the ‘Labour debt’ that was racked up after 2008 look like a kitty for a night out

I supported the Labour stimulus then and I support this stimulus now

Question will be will the Tories who moaned about ‘Labour debt’ make the same case now or do a U turn in thinking

Then what?

Who pays me?

It will be reviewed regularly, which seems pretty obvious to me.

They have given 12 weeks for self isolation, mortgage holiday and now rent.

If mortgages are involved, could get proper messy

Big chain?

If you rent and then don’t have work, won’t you just get housing benefit? Worked that way for me when I got made redundant back in 2008

Obviously you don’t get housing benefit if you pay a mortgage, thus the holiday

My Tenant used to get housing Benefits which she then changed to Universal Credits, I think (not 100%) they make up 80% of the rent. So there’s no reason why that 80% should stop. If she’s having problems at work then I will have to speak to the mortgage provider regarding the remainder.

Needs to be as a percentage of population to make it worthwhile for me

And plotted on a one square = one unit graph paper. The logarithmic stuff used here really flattens the truth massively.

What will be reviewed regularly?

Who is paying me and when

Assume anyone who loses a job and rents will just get benefits then in the usual way and that will pay the rent

If that’s housing benefit or Universal credit, it’s the same thing surely and should cover people in these circumstances

I don’t know a single person who has symptoms, rang 111, been tested or has it.

Are we just behind the curve that much around here?

Good point, which is why i can wait til next season

However, being serious, if i get nowt for 3 months and i dont mind if thats the case, theyre not suddenly finding 4 months rent immediately

Same for many of us, unfortunately

Something 157 cases in the North West

London and the South East probably around 40-50% of the uk’s cases?

Then lock the south east down. Properly.

Ask the rest to stay home, shut as much as possible and this could all be done and dusted in time for the First Test.

Avanti West Coast rail carries thousands of folk from London to the W Mids/N West & Scotland, not even going to London could put you in contact, so don't worry.😐
