That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

Ill see if i can find it

My boss's son-in-law (in Macclesfield) has got it pretty bad apparently. Tested positive for it yesterday after a few days in bed with a fever and a cough, and today he's started breathing laboriously. He's only 24.

Im on about the phones

The practice nurses definitely arent getting bombarded

Fwiw, theyd be better off mucking in with kent, but thatd be a right shock to the system

I was seeing folk at Manchester Royal today, it was non stop with phone calls, and visits because they didn’t want to bother their GP and they couldn’t get through to 111

It's quite simple really.

Folk don't visit medical facilities as much when bad shit happens.

Dunno why but numbers drop off.

Couple it with restrictions on seeing gps anyway, and surgeries will be quiet.

Nottingham QMC hospital here is totally quiet, about 1000 free urgent care beds across the district. Strange.

Maybe we just get a bit more stoic.

Perhaps a bit scared too at the moment.

Went to asda before and some kid were coughin' ; but it sounded put on. How he didnt get murdered i'll never know.

could only buy chocolate and coffee and red bull , and other dear crap.

Hope I was just on a freak run of calls then. The surgeries are dead but is that not just because most people are phoning and not being seen face to face?

Spoke to a mate of mine at the hospital earlier and he said it's eerily quiet up there. People just aren't attending A&E.

Were they not Chinese  nurses saying "why so late"

Matt Hancock seems to be doing OK+

Was about to post the same. Tbh not taken any notice of him before but fair play to him he’s come across very well

Unlike a lot of folk I’ve always had time for Andy Burnham with living in Manc. Always been OK for me. Tonight he’s the only one being a political points scoring bellend. Shame

Thats him

Is it you?

Yes. If you put on a generic Indian accent and say you're a doctor, they fall for it every time. I was bored.

Don't worry everyone, radio stations across Europe are having a synchronised rendition of YNWA tomorrow at 7:45am our time.

My GP is only doing telephone appointments, then allowing you in if the doc says you need a face to face appointment. It takes fucking hours to get through.
