So these that are dying now. Have they been vaccinated?

If they're oldies, they'd have been jabbed weeks back?

Do you have to have the vaccine in your arm? When they finally get round to me, I want it in my arse.

You need that for other things, though

Looking at excess deaths for 26th Feb totals still 40-50% higher in groups up to 45-65 and only 10percent above normal in 85+.

Its working

PS booked my vaccines today.

Dose 1 at Blackburn on Sunday
Dose 2 at Halifax 17 days later

Why are they doing them at the bank?

my daughter works in ICU and said 5 have died in the last 6 days, all in their 40's and 50's, they were taking one out today on a trolley and the radio was blasting out "another one bites the dust" she said you couldn't have timed it better and they were all struggling to not burst out laughing, that light at the end of the tunnel is still distant

Haven't they said they'd honour all prior bookings?

Just my gut feeling

Traf doesnt need his second that soon

In fact, id swear they said its better to have a longer gap between 1 and 2

It may well go ahead, but id be cashing out

Traf doesnt do cashing out so good luck to him

If it's Sefton Park it'll more likely be students from the halls down that way - they think they are all in one big bubble

Little Whitt spotted breaking lockdown

Various outlets reporting that very few people in the UK will be getting their first dose in April. A shortage in supply means that the vaccines we do have will be used for second doses. Under 50s won’t be getting their first dose until May. Which might explain why there’s no thought of speeding up the relaxations

It does. Also shows why they're not opening up stuff too quickly.

BAME death rates still double the normal rate.

I'll see what the advice is nearer the same and if need be, reschedule, but I'm definitely getting the 1st this weekend.

EU on another covid surge, let's hope we don't follow, could put a spanner in summer tourism, Holiday expectations are gonna dwindle.

We probably won’t have a surge as we have massively cut vulnerability with the vaccination success.

Holidays in Europe out for a while, so we can get to know our own country better.

the EU think they can create a holiday passport, which is deluded, because of the virus risk across the bloc.

Ursula on the warpath demanding vaccine from the UK. Meanwhile, her nations have paused using it, some have maligned it from the off, hland have a higher aversion to them at the best of times.

There's a surplus of 7million sat in fridges not being given.

Huge deflection from their poor approach.

Shut the fuck up and get them used you cracked cunt.

Biggest non news story of the decade?

The vaccine supply is down. The impact is that we are less ahead of the plan than we hoped but on track to deliver to plan.

I find it odd.  Earlier the numbers suggested we had enough for about 4 times our population.  Now they're unsure about having enough for the 2nd jabs?

The EU have not come out well in all this.

No one has said they are unsure enough will be available for second jabs have they?

Press would be all over that, and nothing has been said.

As for numbers ordered- that doesn't correlate to the numbers currently available.

Have they not?  I thought Hancock said something along the lines of supplies being bumpy and some 2nd jab appointments not going ahead/being rescheduled.  I've read so much stuff on it over the last couple of days I could easily be mixing up my news facts and speculation!
