On a somewhat related aside, out running I've noticed loads of gob on the paths and pavements. In places where there's been congregating there's been pools of it, surely the efforts of more than one sole dirty fucker. Which is why I’d rather we just stuck it out, played extra time and made sure.

We’ll probably have a Sunday with no deaths by the end of April, that’s when it’ll be loud from the mob.

More cases would mean more hospitalised people though, even if not at the rate as before.

I've spoken to 2 front line nurses recently, and they both tell of dropping numbers but dropping age of those being admitted.

Another couple of months or so should see us right with the vaccination programme.

As I say the progress is brilliant if anyone had suggested we would be doing 844k per day sure people would have laughed.

I would have thought that the vaccination programme is, by far, the most significant contributor to the numbers plummeting.

I fucking hate these wankers who stand in the petrol station every morning waiting for their Costa coffee, moaning about lockdown yet not wearing a mask, there are usually about 8-10 of them, I would love to make them see the error of their ways

It’s certainly helped. As my brother has now got it again after his jab and is pretty poorly. Thankfully just ‘flu’ poorly

but lockdown is the key. If only to protect people from themselves.
