It will happen if it needs to.

Many folk wont go to big events anyway given the coverage in the media.

I'm calling bullshit.

Unless people are guaranteed a refund they ain't giving up Cheltenham festival, cruise holidays that are already booked or footy match tickets.

Should these gatherings have already been cancelled? Who knows but are we learning from Italys exponential growth in cases? Probably not. I doubt we lock down whole regions either let alone a whole country.

Old fuckers and know it alls of wanderers ways ... When in modern living history has a G7 nation been put into lock down? This is unprecedented.

Before my time but could you leave your house on your days off and interact with people?

I think my family only had a home line on the phone the following year, but it was great going to random matches on a Tuesday afternoon on your day off work.😊

Italy are in a mess because they didn’t detect or bother to test early cases. So it’s not equivalent. There is no evidence that large events make any difference. Public transport a big problem in spreading. China shows busses and trains are real hotspots. Shut down all public transport in next week or so?

Since Diamond Bus took over in the Leigh/Bolton area, I think that as been already addressed.

lots of cruises being cancelled, people being given 100%refund and future cruise credits.

not good for self employed travel consultants.

my mrs got a message today from a client saying a cruise was being stopped mid cruise , because of the virus , they will get a full refund, her commission will be taken back from the supplier, hours of work for nothing . again

But Shirley if they’re saying it’s very infectious and transmits quite easily it doesn’t really need proof that large events will be a problem, it’s common sense no?
