That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

But which do they class as high risk groups

I've looked on line but it's not very clear

Anyone over 70 or with an underlying health condition I would say.

Didn't Kent mention the other day they could get results in 2 hours

I think we are still taking days

Thats when we are testing

I’m sure the rest is quick enough, if you have capacity

Plenty of folk looking for temporary work through this, plenty Universities closed who will have decent labs / equipment

Has to be a way to ramp that up massively

Sire they don’t need me to tell them, must be more to it

Just listened to an expert and you will be surprised it wasn’t fanny5 who still hasn’t despite being asked to qualify himself refuses to do so unsurprisingly.

the herd immunity tactic has now been deemed to be too much of a burden and the health service would have collapsed. Hence the change. Makes sense I guess.

they really do need to keep old folk inside best they can though for their own sakes and for the sake of the nhs

To summarise what the UK, US and France are saying, we basically have 4 months ahead of literally fuck all going on.

Thats difficult to comprehend.

My lads had a cough for a week , back and forth with 111 and they got him at the hospital last night. All good, but By the Christ he’s picked a weekend to get one.

but today’s guidance Stay home for 14 days it’s a cough but intermittent not continuous so I’ve been work today but not sure what to do next.

Wife sent home ill with the symptoms today. As at dinnertime the secondary school and college had different policies and my work were basically just shrugging, as at tea time both the school and college are now in line with household isolation for 14 days and work are still shrugging.

Ive already nearly killed some fucker for not doing the pots and we've all only been together an hour.

To be fair you just had to be able to work out percentages of a fucking large number to realise it was a shit idea.

Our sprog must have thought what the hell is going on today We rarely get a full day together just the two of us, today was the first day and she’s like my shadow, she’s not abiding to the 1m rule at all.

He got a temperature too? I thought you needed a cough and/or a temperature.

I read that as if you’ve got a cough and no temperature then you’re reet.

I've got to think overnight what to do with my lot

In theory, plenty office types could do their core work at home, but there's lots they need to do that is much easier to do face to face

There's a good few angling to toss it off

Wonder if they choose to hear the bit about only essential contact

They gonna stay in the house at weekend?

Are they fuck

Temp fluctuated and he has earache too, viral infection doc said at hospital last night but that was it no advice to isolate.

Yes I know that but they dont actually state which conditions.Ive been in touch with my gp and she can not give a definite answer. As I've got remit and relapse ms which means my immune systems fucked. So I need to know if this possible lock down includes me

Our place is going to suffer big time from this as  80% of our business is supplying pubs, restaurants and football clubs

Our production team will keep going in but office lit WFH

Are your orders likely to change? (up or down) - might impact your thinking

I’d invest in a decent thermometer to check folk, doesn’t help if their Mrs has a Cough like

Be plenty of displaced workers from other industries (restaurants, bars etc) looking for short term temporary work if you can work through it all that way

France is ordering everyone indoors for 30 days, that would be a different kettle of fish I’m sure

Isolate for two weeks with a cough

Go back

Get another cough

Isolate again

Start process again

Its madness

But, what’s the better solution?

I’m no expert either but you would be in the same group as people who’ve had chemo and had their immune system knocked out. Personally I would lock down as potentially you have little defence

MiL has undergone chemo and stem cell. No immune system.  Just been taken in at Royal Oldham. She refused to stay in. I suspect that this ain’t going to turn out well

We have just been locked down for 2 weeks, not allowed out of the apartment from noon tomorrow, the army are in the valley to prevent any movement.

That's what I thought myself but if a gp can't give me a straight answer and their's no actual list as such it becomes a little cloudy

I reckon you've answered your own question: if your immune system is knackered stay well clear of unnecessary risk.

No sign if you can get back?
