That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

I had a routine appointment last week, and although the doors had notices not to enter if you had symptoms, the doors were unlocked and anyone could walk in. Only a couple in the waiting room, but I suppose that's not the point.

Theyre not even being allowed in public areas and they still got shit

Having a flu jab at work and being advised by a GP to have one because of a health condition are different things.

I know - I was being facetious

Mates lad been ill for a week or so. Docs tonight. Had to report to the “red zone” which was outside!

my docs stopped open surgery a week ago now. You can get advice over the Phone and they can decide how best to treat you but appointments were seemingly stopped.

Day 67

I can still confirm marijuana is keeping COVID19 away.

We have just been locked down for 2 weeks, not allowed out of the apartment from noon tomorrow, the army are in the valley to prevent any movement.

It's the French Army, if you walk up to them they'll runaway or surrender!

They’ve really fucked over the hospitality industry today. By telling people not to go, yet not ordering them to close it means insurers won’t pay out. Loads of angry restaurant owners. Pretty poor. And he dressed up his move to protect insurers as ‘hey we live in a Liberal society’. Fucking nonsense. If it’s as bad as you want people to think it isn’t an issue to order them to shut.

Do you really think that’s what the U.K. government want too achieve, if they’ve made a mistake I fully expect that they’ll rectify it.

He’s got his hospitality/loss adjusters hat on tonight. Break from football management leaving him with time to kill it appears  should be developing  a vaccine really

Why do you think he hasn't ordered closure

I can only think of 2 reasons and neither are acceptable

Honest opinion is I think he’s stuck still between two schools of thought. He’s just been bold and plumped for herd immunity and now being advised to back track And go for prevention which will lead to lockdown imo. The closure of pubs and restaurants is coming though and soon

also my FIL is a loss adjuster. Instances like this closure isn’t always necessary for a claim on business interruption apparently. But Fanny will know better

but nonetheless it’s coming anyway. Week tops

I believe if you have been advised to have a flu jab in the past then you are at risk.

I’d have thought that this sort of event would be covered under force majeure (act of god)

But then again, that would rule out loads of insurance claims (storms etc)

I did raise this very point with him Saturday night but he said lots of policies will be different no hard and fast rule.

Also said how they calculate the compo varies wildly. Ranging from average last 3 months to 12 months rolling in the main

Does feel like a nonsense, just confusing really

My FB feed full of restaurants begging folk to come in yet the government seem to not want you to go in

meanwhile kids are in nursery and school handing the virus round like a game of pass the parcel

Our street has set up a WhatsApp group so folk can help if anybody has to self isolate.

Nice touch

I know the name of two people that live in my street and they remain the only two I’ve ever muttered a word to.

if they want help I will help of course but won’t be giving my number out to the Cunts that’s for sure or pretending I’ve any interest in any of them.

simple explanation going around on FB

The Government Plan explained  to why we are not in lock down .

His plan is to segregate all vulnerable people (older, illand at risk) let’s call this group A

Anyone looking after the older, ill and at risk can be group B

The general population generally healthy can be group C

Group C needs to go about it’s business keeping the country moving kids at school us at work

Group B looks after group A and avoids contact with C

Group C is allowed to contract the virus and because it’s generally healthy it can cope with it better than group A

Group A and B are almost self isolating without the virus to avoid putting strain on the NHS and reducing the risk of getting the virus and then needing the NHS

Group C (the generally healthy) go through the cycle of contracting the virus self isolating and being looked after by healthy family members, friends and the local community
Anyone who has complications gets looked after by the NHS while groups A and B are kept away The NHS are not strained by A and B while its looking after complicated cases in C

As group C comes full circle and recovers it divides in to groups that take group B’s position looking after group A allowing group B to go though the cycle

With B and C though the cycle
A is free to have NHS to itself because B and C are now clear from illness and infection and hopefully have a degree of immunity from getting it again this season.
