passmosster
Never hung back on a tackle. When he came in people thought he would do better than he did. How many came to us via the Dudley scout? Roy Hartle, Dennis Stevens, Sam Allardyce are 3 that spring to mind.

passmosster
I think that I remember reading a long time ago that we tried to sign Edwards but he opted for United.

I heard Ridding went to see him in Dudley but it was a no, apparently Wolves manager went every day to meet him after school to persuade him to sign but he only ever had eyes for Man U, what a fateful decision that was.
