I've worn masks quite a bit. Soon get used to it, even if they are uncomfortable.

Get some club ones made!

As long as we don't get relegated, it will be better than 3 of the last 5 seasons

Haven’t worn one yet

hopefully won’t have to

Are clubs still going to have a cigarette break half way through each half next season? Gets right on my tits. Most games are boring enough anyway without this interruption

Mandatory up here for shops etc from weds. Missus asked me did I want her to get me one. Said what for I’m going in without one and they can throw me out if they want. If they won’t let me in we don’t eat or she can go and do the shopping

I don't understand the reluctance to wear a mask. Provided the wearer has no medical condition that would make it impossible or particularly difficult, they're no problem at all.

Exactly - not worn one yet but heading for London on the rattler next Friday so will have to

Tend to agree. I think it just feels odd at first, you just feel conspicuous.

When we're at a match, we're not exactly working hard, sat there. Breathing should still be quite easy.

Doubt it will come to this, but I was thinking earlier about the suggestion that that Liverpool match against Madrid was thought to have been responsible for an outbreak- and wondered if it might be on the minds of the medical bods.

I’m sure the old bill will be happy with all fans covering their faces

It should be a choice not mandatory.

Re-phrase it.

If the person next to you possibly had a potentially fatal infectious desease, would you want him to take precautions to avoid passing it onto yourself ?

Surely, leave it as long as possible

And fcuk off international weekends if the players are only on loan

Correct, that pissed me off with Burton having 2 international loan players. Let’s face it, at L2 level, even the loanees are replaceable if they away

Especially if they are U21s like Burtons (and I think they had only made one appearance for Burton between them)

I see a top scientist from the royal society has said there is now evidence to support the wearing of face coverings outside in if people are in close proximity.

Stands could look mighty strange.

You may argue that the players and staff have been tested, so why are all the substitutes, coaching staff, 4th official wearing masks if they have been tested and they are negative ??

Public perception.  Nothing more nothing less. To stop the eternally outraged spilling their guts on social media about these nasty football clubs who don’t care. Basically that

Aye it’s all absolute bollocks.

players are all over each other and not wearing masks yet get subbed off and go and sit 2 metres away from everyone else on the bench.

4th official wearing a mask when absolutely no one else around them is.

Masks aren't tenable for the players, but they are for others, are proven to reduce risk and if you can reduce risk easily and without any downside why on earth wouldn't you? Especially when you're protecting assets that can cost £200k p/w in wages.

Also interesting that someone can be infected for a couple of days or so before they would test positive. Not sure how infectious they would be at that point, but it illustrates that the system isn't perfect.

Odd that Scotland are leading the way on this one considering how things have gone so far.

Maybe because Old Firm aside, it's easy to social distance in Scottish grounds?
