Unless they have a buyer who can prove finance to keep them going then its liquidation for sure. Cant see EFL allowing them to start the season and having another 23 team League 1 next season.

Who would want to buy that team? If you lose the appeal you’re in exactly the same boat, except owing £X+1 million to creditors, who still won’t get paid all of it. If you win the appeal, you’re still in pretty much the same shit financially, but are in the Championship, which has slightly more appeal to buyers. In all circumstances, the administrators will get paid.
