So who else we got that will offer a test

wigan?

No, we could do with someone who can actually field a team - someone a bit more “stable” Ha.

When was the last time we had a good pre season?

I think we didn’t strike in 2016. I suppose that was good.

Homo talking rubbish obvs

Sounds like we gave them a going over and towards the end they got the him a bit and didn’t like it. Promising signs if we are taking the game to clubs the league above

Surprised we’ve not signed that trialist yet. Been involved all pre season and bagged a few..

pre season is what pre season is however what you can’t underestimate with those results is the confidence it breaths in to the players. In Evatt, his ideas and the team as a whole. They’ll be chomping at the bit to for the proper stuff to start

He just came on for the last 17 minutes today but that was 17 mins more than Faal........whatever that means  !! You'd think we'd have made our mind up about him by now.

Loan?

Be shocked if we pass on him, he's most likely signed already. He's already played for our U23's a good few times last season so Phoenix most likely recommended him to Evatt. Even though he was on Liverpool's books he did very well at Bury's academy who's manager then is our newly appointed Academy manager? Perfect secret weapon off the bench as no teams probably know who he is. Fits into the moneyball philosophy. Also will be at the Evatt fitness levels whom any other striker coming from another setup may be having to play catch up.

Not sure. Was an incident which boiled over in training. IE far from happy..

imagine loan is more probable if he does go But would we have enough with Doyle, Delfouneso & Amoteng (if signed)?

Full Time | Tranmere Rovers 0-3 Warrington Town.

Said it before, no team ever loses confidence by winning games. Results don’t matter but I’d rather go into the season on the back of a proper pre season with reasonable results rather than the opposite

Amen. 19 scored and zero conceded. Will give confidence at both ends of the pitch

Exactly, The winning mentality is a great habit to have.

No matter who we are playing, and what side we are putting out, we are stringing together some wins and there's finally some positivity about the club

Nothing bad can come from beating a team that beat you 7-1 a few months ago 3-0 today

As already said - winning is a mentality that needs to be restored in this club - after years of just turning up and going through the motions.

keep it up.

We might have played some lesser teams early on but that was needed to implement and get used to the new style.  As said above, adopting a winning mentality and having confidence is priceless.

Playing Crewe Alexandra at the Unibol on Friday apparently.

6 - 1 win.

Last minute consolation for them.
