Those last 10 seconds were the most Bolton 10 seconds I’ve ever seen. Ball on the halfway line chasing a point and the ball somehow ends up with trying to get our goalkeeper to chest down a bouncing ball.

Red card a proper pisstake. Delaney’s arms were in a completely natural position and Vaughan chose to dip his head in to Delaney’s elbow rather than actually challenge for the ball. Always uphill from that point onwards.

The frustrating thing is that Evatt clearly has passion for the job going by his red card at the end, but the players continually look lethargic and lacking motivation.

1 he gave a corner then changed to a pen and a booking 

2 he gave nothing, it was a foul, IMO not a red but a definite second yellow

3 Vaughan draws the foul but Delaney gets mugged off. Yellow

 

The first one I can see why he gives a penalty but he clearly changes his mind. Second no idea how he gives nothing. Third hard to argue given the fact he was already booked but would question if he should have been booked.

We were shite the ref was shite and delaney was worse than shite
