Given up these refs are a joke but we are so weak and our build up play is too slow and easy to defend it's a relegation scrap for us .

I know, but one nil up, down to ten men, with the opposition in the ascendency and roughly ten minutes to play, surely the sensible decision decision is just to replace Delf with Tutte to shore up the midfield?

At the end of the day for all Evatt will say we were in control of the game most of our possession was in front of Morecambe and we created very little of note apart from the goal. We very rarely put teams under consistent pressure and it needs addressing. 

The new lad Dapo looked a class above and should start from now on.

And Morecambe are on a level with Trampmere for me. Pikey boss , hounding refs, continually going down looking for fouls cheating basically.  Hope they dont go up. Also not sour grapes but they were shit . And they are 7th?

Thats bollocks, the subs made us more of a threat and opened the game up. One decision has changed the game and it wasn't the subs.

At 80 minutes, their 4 subs would come on and then it would be 50/50

Hes made positive subs and getting stick, cos either maddisons been a dick/the refs a cheat/morecambe are cheats or a combination of the three

We had more intent in that breif few minutes than we have all season.

Maddison was a yellow. His enthusiasm is understandable given the circumstances and god knows we need some bite in midfield.

Hopefully a review gets that rescinded.

Evatt. I’m still unsure if he’s right for us but we’re not going down and my instinct has always been to give a manager the time it takes, so he deserves a fair crack. None of us truly know what will happen and we’re as low as we can be so fuck it, let him sort it.

This division is even worse than the first time around and we are not helped by refs wanting to scale the ladder scoring cheap shots against the big lads who used to be on the telly all the time.

Like last season, this one won’t count in a couple of years.

Maddison believed all his hype that came with the move, tried playing like Neymar... was rusty as fuck due to lack of sharpness most probably gave it away and lunged in like a stroppy kid who wasn`t getting his own way. Playing for himself and not his new teammates, we was in full control and looked like we would have killed them off. Dapo legit stole his shine, luckily for Maddison there's lots of games to redeem himself but do that again and good luck getting a contract anywhere next season. He tried way too hard from the go, Dapo kept things simple but looked way more sharper and a step above

They were already having the better of it after the sending off.  We had an out ball in Afolayan, just get an extra body in the middle rather than taking one away.

The substitutions were sensible & without the sending off we'd have won comfortably.

I'd give MM the benefit of the doubt & say he was trying too hard to impress & that the red was a bit harsh & clearly influenced by their players.

On the plus side, Afolayan looks a good prospect.

 But we didn't tonight.

We never looked like conceding & it was an easy 3 points until the sending off.

It affected our guys mentally & they got on the back foot straight away.

Not sure why they started hanging on, as I reckon we had the talent to score a second,
