He is the manager/coach, he prepares the team and then makes the decisions that the players cant and tonight he once again got it wrong. Clueless fucker and he has to go.

I wish you would go.

First viewing I thought it was a nailed on red, but the more I see it the more it looks like he got the ball and certainly didn’t go in to it two footed.

Only substitution I disagreed with was taking Jackson off as I thought he had a decent game. At 11 v 11 the attacking subs were spot on.

Problem is it looks worse than it was cos of his back leg coming in too and their man is on the deck.

Sadly plenty of refs give them as red these days

Jackson was crap, every time he got a pass he just turned and passed it back, never once turned forward and tried to beat a man. John showed how to do it when he came on so hopefully but for injuries, that’s the last we’ll see of Jackson and he can take that other numpty from Lincoln with him.

Big time. You know when you just see that a player is comfortable on the ball, one of those where a first touch actually sticks (which stands out a mile in this league) - he looked like that.

He lost it a few times later on but he was trying to do everything himself due to the game situation. I’d like to see him on one side and Arthur on the other. Also, Jackson did nothing wrong but John looked really impressive when he came on - a left hand side of John and Afolayan looks promising.

Liked Jackson in the first few games, but now, for some reason, cant pass forward? Evatt?

You can play the red card as slowly as you want, but live it looked bad and he  seemed to go off his feet. When your own commentators are hoping for a yellow it ain't good

They were stupid substitutions and we would have won it if he had kept it as it was

If we are going to speculate, if the ref decided to give the yellow that tackle deserved, we win 3-0 maddison with an assist and a goal and everyone comments on what great signings we made and how it was the right thing to give them 30 minutes game time.

The substitutions were fine, they opened it up, a bad refereeing decision changed the game, it is not evatts fault

First half hour of second half wasnt shit

Yeah i agree that was the best bit. IMO the sending off ended that period and after that we were hanging on. Gave them real hope and ref just decided to give them everything but yes our defending from corners especially was worrying.

Think a lot on here have given up on Evatt and he cant do any right now.

Maddison won the ball & their player goes over the top on him - fucking disgraceful decision, brought in by their players whinging.

Going off the above replays I agree, their player had feet raised, hope the club appeal it.

You can still win the ball and not be in control of your tackle, which is how the league will see it.

Studs aren’t up and he does win it, players and yon mon rolling around got him sent off.

Need to show more urgency get the ball forward quicker and look to score 2 or 3. Been same all season it looks as of the players can't be bothered to score at times.

Oh and if you can't defend a basic corner which we have shown time and time again then 1-0 is never going to be enough.

Maddison won the ball and as far as I’m concerned it was a good tackle.

unfortunately football is now a game for fannies so you can’t get away with them. It’s turning me away from the game tbh how soft it’s gone, it’s gone way too far

Am I reading this out of context or are you saying the west ham kid and maddison shouldn't have been bought on tonight?

Difficult with that replay, but he jumps in a bit initially, which may have swayed the ref. Certainly gets the ball first, but then his right foot comes in as the fellas leg comes through.

Maybe harsh, but can see why the ref saw it as red.

The ref has guessed

And their bloke rolls way too much for somebody seriously hurt

I thought the subs were good subs to make. We certainly looked a lot more potent, if a little too gung-ho possibly.

Maddison's challenge was a daft one. Red card may be a little harsh but I wasn't surprised to see him reach for his back pocket.

Disappointing to see us, once again, concede from a free header, but I could sense it coming.

West Ham lad looks very exciting. A big upgrade on Arthur.

Why did evatt make subs? We were comfortable, Johnson was having great game, the first 40 minutes of pissing about thinking we’re Barca has cost us.

Jackson?  I thought he was under performing tonight compared to previous games.

But rightly or wrongly he made subs to give "minutes" to some new signings, a bit like a friendly .  Eyre called it right, knowing that the 2 subs would be made with plenty of time to go.

There's an argument for saying breaking his new signings in is the right call, its not like anyone that was having a stormer came off.
