GB News

Has anybody watched any of it? I've tried it a few times. Currently watching something called Dewbs and Co and it's absolutely dreadful.

Anybody seen anything good on it?

He's the worst monster to grace television since Savile.

he's a lovely T-total gentleman, blessed with the gift of the gab, and a twinkle in his eye.

He's a ponce.

Currently flogging anything and everything for coffin dodgers.

he's clearly quite popular, I'm not sure why though. I'm not sure how he fits into what GB News was set up for, but the good news is that I won't see his smug face on TV too often now, apart from his adverts for foot massagers

He's a perfect fit for GBN. Gammon innit.

Well despite a few predictions, GB News is still going and is actually accumulating some decent presenters. They still have some crap ones but that can change. At least it’s a change from the usual woke stance of the other major Channels.

Aye, but do they have any viewers?

Last I heard they had tanked massively

Does anyone on here watch it?

Do you?

@Youri McAnespiewill be pleased, as it seems his mate, Eamonn Holmes, is leaving ITV show This Morning, to front his own show on GB News, several times a week.

Leaving This Morning is a bit rich as there was a massive fallout from him and wife,  Ruth following them being overlooked as Friday regulars and deputy hosts for when Phillip and Holly are off. Alison, some reality TV show contestant and Dermot got their gig.

I think in reality it's hanging on by the skin of it's teeth. I'm not sure how many actually watch it, but their viewing figures last time they were published were not that great I don't think. The little I've seen of it, has been people presenting their views/opinions as news, as opposed to actually presenting news as it's happened.

There is obviously a market for it, I'm not sure it's as big as they thought it would be though. I do like how some (and I'm not suggesting you here) claim it's better than getting news from MSM.....despite it now actually being part of the MSM

Woke stance? What the fuck does that even mean?

it doesn't mean anything at all, it's just one of those throw away sayings

I actually know one person who watches it constantly, she's landlady of our village club. She can often, on a Friday evening (and I'm already looking forward to this evenings installment) be heard ranting about something she's seen on GB News, she takes everything they say as gospel. If you dare question anything she says, she'll happily accuse you of being blinded by the MSM.

She also, on a regular basis, will start a conversation with "I'm not being racist, but..." and we all know what that means.

She does have huge tits though, so it's not all bad 🙂

Can't remember the last time went out of my way to watch a news channel.

It probably gets trounced by those channels that screen 'Find it, Fix it, Flog it' and 'Salvage Hunters' on a loop, and t'other one that does the same with; 'Starsky and Hutch', 'T.J. Hooker' and 'Charlie's Angels' - doesn't even have ad breaks that.

He's a red cunt.... but I'd ruin his Mrs!! 😊

I've never watched it, but going of the comments and their staff GB News seems like Mel Brooks' "The Producers". A bid to make the worst possible programme as a scam.

I'm sure @Youri McAnespiecan fill you in 🙂

There's a whole thread where I expose his crimes and peccadilloes.

Just search for 'pôitin', 'lorazepam', 'homophobic hatred of effete hippo puppets' and 'holmes'...

It is odd that a channel set up to espouse the opinion of the silenced majority seem to be giving jobs to people who seemingly opine at will from prominent media positions.

The strange thing is that it doesn't necessarily reflect opinion of majorities.

Out of all the news channels, it's the most critical of everything, has differing opinions on the same subject and deliberately stirs things up by having contrasting and contrary views.

Lembit Opik just spouting his climate change denying bollocks and saying co2 is our friend.

It's loaded with overtly gay individuals who argue at length with each other.

I make a point of watching a bit of each of the three news channels, and they all have good and bad points.

GB is the most controversial, contrary, critical, sometimes crass but still offers views of both sides of the argument.

Reminds me a bit of viz.

As was Savile - as recently as a few years before he pegged it (When Louis Met Jimmy).

The film 'Joker', two years old, had Gary Glitter do the theme.

I'll screenshot your glib post about Holmes for future humble pie crow-eating.

I remember when Saville died and I was listening to Jimmy Wagg and Eamon O’Niell on a Sunday morning and Jimmy Wagg said it was a shame. O’Niell said he didn’t agree as he’d ‘heard things’ about him.

The thing is, lots of people knew or ‘heard things’ about him and they didn’t do anything. That’s how he got away with it.
A scandal in itself.

If you know things, tell the class or you’ll be no better than all those other BBC employees who turned a blind eye.

We all 'hear' things about a lot of people, doesn't make them true, most of the time they aren't.

Problem with Saville was people knew exactly what he was doing, and even if they didn't know the exact horrible details, they knew it wasn't right. Yet they kept schtum. Horrible bastards.

Saville had friends in high places including Thatcher not as easy to out someone as it is now . Especially when you’ve set up two children’s charity’s . Hidden in plain sight .

Same goes for most peadophiles whether they be individuals or gangs

There's always cover ups and blind eyes

Whether it be bbc, catholic church, kebab shops, football coaches etc

I'll never understand someone who is not the one being abused who says nothing

There's a difference between knowing things and hearing things, but still, inability to prove is one thing, blind eyes is another

There’s also a difference between knowing, hearing and ‘suggesting’ things.

Youri is suggesting things.
I don’t know Holmes. I’ve done work for InterTalent though. I know people there. If Youri has something to tell us, spit it out instead of making insinuations. No one is listening. It’s only a football forum. Youri?
