They have spent around 20 years believing themselves to be our equals, sadly often egged on by our own misfortunes and haplessness (Mr Evatt). Crushing reality was always going to hit home at some point. That time is now. I am sure the barren lands of lower division football will feel very empty for them without us and I look forward to seeing them in League 2. Perhaps at some stage we'll get to send our youth team to play them in the Vertu Trophy. It would immediately become the highlight of their dismal existences. Quote

L/H White Posted Monday at 19:38 Posted Monday at 19:38 Quote That is absolutely dogshit Quote Disallowed f*ck off Quote Knew it. Everyone around me celebrating like mad. And I just had a this horrible f*cking feeling. Quote The cheating prick fell over Quote Sidibeh clipped him. Gutted. But he did. Quote VAR con f*ck off. Cheats. Sky commentators just blowing sunshine up Bolton arses Quote This. It seems ridiculous to finish a competition using rules that don't apply to the rest of it Quote Now I dont know whether to celebrate or not.. Quote Shushing the VARnderers fans 😂 Quote We’ve looked good since our goal tbf. Look better than them right now. Quote We are better than these all over the pitch Quote Good half. Been better than them. Just two major warnings when we’ve let them run at us. Poor from a few for their goal. Feel like we’ve put a lot of energy into the midfield battle and we don’t have many options to keep it up second half. But that ball over the top and down their sides keeps getting us up the field. Tanto going to be crucial. Quote Pitchside reporters on CBS including Deeney and Reo-Coker saying County fans by far the loudest. Quote You can't say it's not been coming, we've been poor since half time. Quote They’ve been so much better than us since half time. Been coming Quote Theyve barely had a sniff and the 2 goals weve conceded have been utter wank So so avoidable Quote Lots of inbreds in the Bolton end celebrating their goal. No teeth etc. Quote Equally though Bolton were on top before the subs and Sidibeh was never playing 90 mins. The later stages of this game were always going to be a problem with ageing legs in midfield and a bench that weakens us whether as a result of bad recruitment or the injuries. We really needed to get ahead first half. Quote Shite, may as well not bothered second half Quote I was so confident of winning this. More fool me. Bolton much the better team. No complaints about the result. Keeper not good enough. Midfield goes missing in games stood next to the defence. Sadly Jimbo preserves his record of being the only manager to win at Wembley. Quote Former Stockport County player - scores an overhead kick Former bolton player - red card and penalty Quote 4-1 far from a fair reflection of the game Quote It's been that bad the second half, it almost feels fixed! 🤔 We've got way to many soft players both mentally and physically, with poor football intelligence in this particular team. Half the time it looks like they either give up or just can't be bothered. The subs have made us worse the majority of games when brought on this season. So many players need moving on over the summer. Will be interesting to see what happens in regards to D.C etc too. Extremely disappointing Quote Thanks for the memories Dave but that’s it for me. Second half, we had them on the ropes at HT and we never showed up. Took Barry off after an hour, he didn’t touch the ball for 60 mins, why? Done brilliantly, took us far as you can, no shame in it but it’s goodbye for me. Quote Sibs goal should have stood. Shocking decision. We gave them far too much space in the second, and the hair pull was the briefest of grabs and if he had short hair it would be a less than 1 second shirt pull instead, and no action. Crazy decision. But overall we were miles away the better team in the first half and utterly useless in the second. back later, another 40 pages to scan Quote

Duck Egg Posted Monday at 20:18 Posted Monday at 20:18 I've seen a few Stockport fans saying they should get rid of Challinor. "He's taken us as far as he can". Are they mental?! Given their history and level of support, competing at the top end of the 3rd division is much higher than they deserve to be! Huddersfield, Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday all getting mentioned now as being potentially interested in him. If he goes I expect Stockport will be back in the 4th tier before long. Quote
