I’ll just look like a Dad at a concert trying to hard not to look like a Dad at a concert

That was me a few years ago. Courteeners at Heaton Park. Courtesy of Fogarty junior and one of her mates no showing.

Me trying not to watch any young person closely for more than a second.

A misunderstanding just waiting to happen.

Is it new century house near Victoria?

Was an old coop building. The smaller of the older towers on Miller street. New century house had a massive function room at the bottom of it.

We had a few proper shit work dos there 15 years back.

Near the pilcrow pub so imagine they've spent some cash on it now and you won't only have a choice of John smiths or Boddingtons

I hope it's better than Craig Charles funk and soul at Bolton Albert Hall last night.

I walked in half hour after doors opening before he was on... It was like a 80s conny club do. Couple of old dears bopping on an empty dancefloor

Luckily filled out and was a mint night in the end. At one point I thought I'd be on the floor doing woops upside your head.

just did a search

turns out there's an article on the guardian from 2 days ago going on about it

because that JCC gig was the opening act at the newly done up venue

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/sep/19/you-can-feel-history-return-new-century-hall-manchester

it looks a bit school hall to me, like I should be sliding across the dance floor on my knees

Pastel were great again last night in Exeter.

Theyre playing Gorilla for Neighbourhood Festival Oct 1st.

If anyone needs/wants a Frank turner ticket for face value giz a shout I'm having to be in Leicester that night so can't go. Gutted

Just Mustard at Band On The Wall were exactly that. Fucking superb.

Ah Ministry have cancelled.

Poor, was looking forward to showing my other half that Thieves pisses on anything NIN have ever done.

Still Yard Act should be good.

Blimey.

If ever there was an artist you didn't want to hear do karaoke...

Funny....

Swedish House Mafia are warming up in the Arena and it feels like the lights are going to fall from the ceiling. Never heard anything as loud- the bass is literally shaking the walls

The Enemy probably means very little to very few people, but to people of a certain age in my certain situation at the time, fuck me they wrote the bible. Proper bucket list fodder to see them tonight.

Spending most of the gig with @L/H White and his DMB mate an unexpected bonus

You’re not alone, you know.

Also bumped in to far more people than I expected who had been to watch Anthrax at the Academy but each to their own like

Moz tonight in Doncaster.

Anyone doing the Lancaster music festival in 2 weeks time?

Beltin weekend!.

Behemoth & Arch Enemy tonight .
