Loan Watch 2021/22

Keeping an eye on the young Whites out on loan this season.

Luke Hutchinson played in Atherton Colls 3-0 home win over Basford Utd.

Matt Alexander played in Lancaster City's 7-2 away win at Grantham Town

Dennis Politic was on the bench for the second time this week for Port Vale today but has yet to get any game time.  I guess he isn't match fit yet.

Sogndal play tomorrow.  We'll see if Ronan Darcy is there and makes an appearance.

Politic simply has to be an improvment on Kachunga.

If the lad from Hamburg doesn't cut it on his return from injury then recalling Politic is a must.

Harry Brockbank would be an improvement on Kachunga.

Come January,    a possible attacking 3 of politic ,  dapo- in the middle , Amaechi , with doyle up top or whoever may be brought in ?

Or dapo in the false 9 position (think that's what citeh call it) that brings Sheehan in with mj and Lee.     I expect there will be a couple of additions in Jan.

Possible nice options.

Extra pace & explosiveness is a must because apart from Dapo there's not really anybody who can carry the ball not to mention nobody offering any runs in behind to stretch defences. Doyle presses but doesn't know whether he wants to come deep or make a run behind, Baka offers a lot more than Kachunga although they both seem to like to take the easy option of turning back & playing the ball safe inside. Whether it's Politic or Amaechi or in a perfect world both they can hopefully really spice up our front line because if they start confidently then defenders can't just double up on Dapo then... they'll have three tricky talented bastards to keep at bay but for now it's easy for teams to do so on Dapo as they know Isgrove, Doyle, Kacha ect have hardly got a goal in them nor any individual brilliance so they can be left free although it's good to see Dapo adjusting to roaming finding the space on the pitch to affect the game.

Getting him back and into the side, may get him to sign the contract. He then has a transfer value, so if someone wants him, they will have to pay.

A lad at the start of his career shouldn't be going for nowt if we can avoid it.

Greenidge just scored for Barnet against Stockport 😀looking at the line-up it seems he is playing midfield 🤔

aye, amusing as I was forwarded this

so just replied with this

Crawford scored the winner from the edge of the box at Dundee United, who hadn't lost for 7 games.

Politic started again, lasted 60 odd minutes. Went off at 1-1, Vale won 4-1

Darcy started for Sogndal.

Match abandoned at 1-0 as one of their players suffered heart problems in the first half.

David Weatherston (@dweatherston11) Tweeted:

Looked like really awful incident at Sogndal tonight. Emil Palsson down with what looked like a heart issue. Taken to hospital, surprised if that game with Blink continues. Really awful. Hoping Emil is ok, makes you sick to watch

Conscious before going to hospital.

Dennis Politic played for Vale today so is cup tied should he come back and we progress.  He was subbed at half time with the score at 1-1 as Vale made a formation change (they won 5-1).

Ali Crawford played for 67 minutes in St Johnstone's 0-0 draw.  Crawford and St Johnstone want to extend his stay beyond January.

Ronan Darcy started for Sogndal but was substituted on 77 minutes in their 3-1 loss which looks to have ended their play off hopes.

Luke Hutchinson wasn’t in the Colls squad. Given BWFC didn’t want him cup-tied earlier in the season, he could be on the bench at the UniBolt tomorrow?

Hopefully.

Adam Senior scored again for Ashton Utd  (his 3rd) in their 3-0 win vs Basford..  4 straight wins on the trot.

I’ve never really seen Adam Senior much, the odd game here and there.

He seems to be held in high regard, hopefully he comes through. The lad never stops smiling. Needs to sort his helmet out though

Got their player of the month for October 👍

Senior has been playing at right back for Ashton. Wonder if that’s where Evatt sees him long term.  Doesn’t look big enough at the moment to be a central defender.

My mates lad plays at Ashton, he was watching BWFC on Sunday and he said Senior is cracking lad but not ready for the step to first team level for BWFC yet.

Players like Senior and Thomason will probably struggle to play at the level we are playing, or aspire to be.

Adam Senior goal on Saturday.  Almost missed it but a great supporting run to be fair.

Jesus, state of that pitch.

Politic with a goal and assist so far tonight.

It's only against Liverpool under 21s, but still.

I really hope Denis makes it here I really do.

He'll be one of the ones you'll remember from that Coventry game and that team of kids we had to field for a few games.

Showed a glimpse of real potential.
