The other league game was Boxing Day. BTW it’s changed a lot since and the marina is lovely with lots of bars and restaurants. There won’t be much happening on a Tuesday night mind….. Premier inn on the marina 33quid 👍🏼

Lovely location. Can go as I’ve cancelled my planned Dec Thai trip due to all the new variant uncertainty and may go mid Jan now instead. L/H White
it could be appealing if it's a 7pm kick off

captainmed
We’ll be into lockdown by then. If you’re booking hotels then do the flex option. The Govt have already started the conditioning process. Edited December 13, 2021 by captainmed

I stayed in many Prem Inn hotels whilst we have been in lockdowns over the last couple of years. The attached bar and all facilities were of course closed. The flex option gives you cover. If they are open, the non-flex will not. Would you want to be in H/pool with no pubs open and/or the possibility of the game being behind closed doors? You may think it’s unlikely but surely the flex option, for a small increment is worth the safety net? Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 14, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted December 14, 2021 Currently, Premier Inn at Hartlepool Marina is £35 non-flex, £44 semi-flex (cancellation with three days notice) and £51 fully flex cancellation up to 13.00 hrs on day of arrival. I reckon some of the £16 you’d save would probably buy a single UK travel insurance which covers lots more stuff besides having to cancel. Traf
£16 might be a small price to pay, but it's actually a 46% surcharge, based on Micky's current figures. I suppose it's down to the individual's aversion to risk, but yes, Micky, travel insurance. Everyone should have travel insurance, it's not just for your holidays.
