Round of 16 Jan 16/17th.

Nice little run out for Pettifer & Tweedley (is it?) looked tidy players

Good to see a couple getting a bit of a chance.

We're not blessed with infinite cash, so you'd expect us to need to produce some home grown players.

At a canter and you think I need a head wobble? Unbelievable.

"Got the feeling some of them thought all they had to do was turn up". So you'll agree we played at a canter, and yet we still won the game...

Maybe the number of goals we conceded at the start of last season wasn't entirely down to Crellin? Just a thought...

Agreed. But we should still have had more than 10 (BBC info) shots. I can't be arsed looking back, but I bet we had more in the past few matches. I'm talking about our shots tonight, not our defence of last season.

Anyway, a win's a win. I'm not going to fall out over it.

Game was played at a pedestrian pace and Fleetwood never looked like scoring until the last 10 minutes.  We were worse after the formation change and Baptiste solid in the back three was like a fish out of water in whatever position he was supposed to be playing - RB or RWB.  But a win and £20k.

That's Sunday/Monday?  Presume its on 18th, between Ipswich (H) and Shrewsbury (A).

I wasn’t sure who was going who but they both looked decent.

Was warmer than I expected tonight

I reckon Amaechi is going to rip up this league once he’s fully fit and more comfortable with the pace

Watching that Lee interview you can see he's quite a quiet lad, perhaps not one for the limelight. Does his talking on the pitch. Must be a manager's dream.

That should pay the fine for not controlling our players against Donny

Spoken like a true accountant. 🤣

How much are we losing by hosting each home game?

Who’s left in the comp?

Wigan; Carlisle and Rotherham through in the north section with us. Sunderland, Sheff Wednesday and Tranmere and Crewe at home in their games

I don’t think we would have got promotion without him at the back last season. As soon as him and Santos formed a partnership we became harder to beat.

Hes about 46 and up a division from last year. Should he be starting in league? No definitely not but he’s not a bad footballer that’s harsh.

Baptiste was a decent stopper in Lg2 and certainly played his part in most of the ‘backs to the wall’ defensive displays that we needed, but as a footballer playing in Lg1? Nah, we need better now.
