Site Supporter Cheese Posted January 6, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted January 6, 2022 I was lucky enough to get one of the early copies with the secret booklet hidden behind the CD tray too. And I saw them Live in Warrington the day it was released. One of the best nights of my life.

Oh and nicking his best mate's Mrs. And stealing the riff from Lyla (and the piano coda) And only last month suing a woman for selling a 3.99 bootleg. I bet he left that hotel window open as well... (That might be a bit too far) Clapton as a musician he is almost untouchable, as a person he's a piece of shit

ErnestTurnip
Favourite sampling fact has to be that Voodoo Ray is a sample of Peter Cook from Derek And Clive Live that Gerald cut short else I’d have been tripping to Voodoo Rage instead. Bet they were fantastic live in their pomp. 1975, for Original Soundtrack, at FTH 1978, at the Apollo, after Godley and Creme had left. The first I kind of remember as being a great night, but we were mad fans. I have the feeling that I’ve been to better shows since, but memory fades! My Wife saw them in our local town here in Germany the other Month. I was working so couldn't go. Play a song, talk about it for 10 minutes, play another song, talk about it for ten minutes. Same when we saw Steve Hackett in Munich in 2019. Edited January 7, 2022 by Nordkurve

There were some baffled fuckers in the crowd though.

Not in Crawley
Only just realised Greg Gilbert from The Delays died in september last year. Whilst I'm not a fan of all that early 2000s indie landfill, I think the Delays were much better than that and much closer to Mazzy Star, Chapterhouse etc Only 44. Youri McAnespie
I'm sure he wears a skull ring on his finger - he can't sing for toffee, I worry about some of you - Bob Dylan, 10cc, Nick Cave, Oasis? Get your ears syringed.

I fear your compass is broken and you've been sent wayward down a one way musical backalley unable to tell right from wrong, and up from down.
