Topkapi Palace used to do a great Iskender Kebab - fresh, warm pitta smothered in Tomato Sauce & Yoghurt, Donner Meat, Chicken Slices, Lamb Shish & probably some other meat.

Was excellent, not been for about 6 years. Need to go again......

Just done My 4 over 15 hour shift ,I ain't messing about marinating anything .

Need 3 pints and a bloody kebab.

Next time I will give you a bell.

Marinating is key. But I understand your position. Man needs food 👍🏻

Job done.

You should make your own flatbread as well, probably the easiest part of the meal.

The flatbread one is from Tart London which is just yoghurt and flour, Jamie Oliver does one as well. Actual pitta though I haven't made as they have yeast in them which is a bit of a faff but I have just googled and a few recipes pop up which I am tempted to give a go.

Added BBC flatbread which is pretty much all the others are.

This is the one I use... says naan but more like a flatbread bread.
