That's pretty hard to stomach. And we’d be top of the league (assuming we’d won if they were in a relegation battle)

ErnestTurnip
Mad how getting a point at Barnsley to give us 2 out of 6 against them over the season is being celebrated like winning the Champions League by some.

Football is an emotional game. If you didn't celebrate like we'd won the Champions League after Randell put away that 97th minute missed-penalty rebound, you must be made of wood. I've still got a bit of a buzz from it now.

P28 W5 D11 L21 against the top 6 since since we've been in this league 25 points from a possible 84 hence why i don't think we'll finish top 2 due to our remaining fixtures

Post game, I don’t think anybody is. As always on here, it’s quite measured and balanced, unlike Twatter and Face Mither. The most positive folk are being is that it could act as a spark/turning point/key moment in our promotion push. If you’re talking about the celebration of the 2nd goal then I really don’t get this point of view. In “that moment” you don’t stop to analyse the bigger picture and the intellectual implications. Crikey the moment I stop going fucking mental at a significant 99th minute goal, (yes just like we’ve won the champions league!) is the moment I stop travelling the country watching us. I can only think you didn’t go? Because not one person there wasn’t going crazy. I would say it’s justifiably, the biggest celebration this season so far. Promotion seasons bring special moments, that’s one of them. Bonkers to think that those celebrations should be kept in check.
Traf
Why celebrate like we did? Because so many “experts” say that a defeat ends our season.

Better record than previous seasons so far. Only lost 1. We are, at the moment, at least on a par with those around us

We've only lost one, which is an improvement on other seasons. Looking at the table when we played various teams, Oxford were top 6 and we drew there. Iirc Port Vale may have up there at the time, and we gained a valuable point with 10 men.
BeeversLeftPeg
You can also argue that last season our record against this season's top 6 was W5 D2 L3 Portsmouth H 3-0 A 0-1 Derby H 0-0 A 1-2 Barnsley H 0-0 A 3-0 Peterborough H 1-0 A 5-0 Stevenage (Accrington) H 0-1 A 3-
