We had a decent thread a while back discussing Evatt’s philosophies and approach to the game (think it got tainted and pulled)

So not a bad time to start it up again at the beginning of the season.

In the main he’s done a fantastic job. A minority lost patience round about Xmas/New Year in both seasons. 

But surely now he has the large backing of the majority of fans and the brand he talked about implementing here is now well and truly established.

Good article above highlighting how he’s using Sport Science to get the squad performing to it’s optimum level.

A young, meticulous, intelligent and passionate individual, who we are very lucky to have leading our club.

I hope he gets what he deserves with promotion to the Championship.

Enjoyed listening to the interview. This is where he's at his best for me Evatt, when he's sat down in a comfortable situation and given time to explain his views on stuff in full.

He's at his worst when interviewers are looking for soundbites straight after games where he clearly still struggles to control his temper/emotions.

Interesting chat about tactics and his mental health. Now I don't want to hear from him for weeks 😃

His head proper went in February didn't it. He wasn't alone like but jesus I bet he got on the ale big style.

Think he's one of them blokes (far from alone, including myself) that when things aren't going well for whatever reason, you can physically see and hear it. He looked fried by the end of the season, hotel bar bill must be massive

We hear of these sorts of things from clubs from time to time.

I would imagine most players get frustrated about some aspect of club life at some point.

I suppose if you get to speak to such a person at a difficult time then a different emotion may be expressed to wht they normally would say, or what others would at that time.

I can well imagine he can be moody. Bit can't we all be ?

He is into his word salad & I try not to listen to it.

He has the ability to firmly believe something, until he seemlessly firmly believes something else.

Fans, some knowledgeable, some less so, have long pleaded for a 'plan B'. He's gone so far as to ridicule the idea, yet now he seems to have accepted it. Let's see if that's real or him bullshitting us.
