September 13, 2025Sep 13 Right, the old gipper didn't break a nose therefore shouldn't be arrested. Neither did Lucy Connelly, nor indeed the Councillor. Age isn't and shouldn't be a defining factor as to whether someone is arrested. Neither should an individual's perception of what should or shouldn't be a crime. Whether that arrest subsequently leads to prosecution is a different matter- CPS have to decide whether it is in the public interest etc. The legal profession also have a duty to ensure fairness and equality throughout. Laws can be altered, scrapped or made anew according to the politics/society of the day, and people can lobby for that. A question I've raised before: what are these people actually demonstrating over? The war in Gaza or the proscribed group? The first is easy to do and won't result in action. The second is an organisation that has repeatedly attacked British companies and military establishments. I'd suggest a good number are misguided, and ought to know better.

September 13, 2025Sep 13 Popular Post I travelled down with loads. Some numb cunts obviously. But some just normal folk. Couples and families. Felt a bit surreal. Couldn't help but think how the fuck have we got to this point. We've been failed.

With the same logic, very low percentage and "proportion" how exactly does that equate to a genocide in Gaza ? Will leave the lefty mathematicians to deal with that whilst I sleep ☺ x

Do you not find the timing a bit odd?
September 13, 2025Sep 13 Was a bit of a strange crowd on the trains down to be honest. A mix of absolute notrights and couples in their 60s in union flag T-shirts and copies of the Daily Mail tucked under their arm. No bother either way on the train either way so I do have to say they were respectful. The big group singing Rule Britannia and oh Tommy, Tommy on the Tube were a bit intimidating to say the least, but I suppose no different to a group singing on their way to the match. No doubting there were some massive numbers involved and I suppose there’s some part of me that things good on them for believing in something, but it’s not for me and tbh as a soft lefty I’d have been heading the other way on the WCML if I’d have known it was going on today.

Do you not find the timing a bit odd? I think this is past a labour tory thing. The Tories have created this whole mess. Brexit included. Labour are trying and for me are doing OK. But the public tide of opinion has gone big style. I walked out of Euston today thinking what the fuck is going on.

If they think Farage is the answer to their problems, they're in for a massive shock. It's going to be fucking hilarious.

TBF this sort of thing has been going on years TR has been at it for years for sure That Muslim ray guns video was from an EDL march in 2011 Loads of protests and riots after COVID and BLM and all that Farage was at it for years during Tory power I don't think it's Tory v Labour Not now, not then And it's not just in this country

Hundred thousand Twitter addicts marching through London to pay homage to their Grand Mekon addressing them from Mars or wherever will make fk all difference, ten times as many marched to stop the Iraq invasion and that still happened. It'll be old news by Tuesday when Trump rolls into town. Then the UK Tesla dealers can breathe a sigh of relief!
