I do agree though today Bod was poor, Dion, not his normal self, but still getting into areas where he should score. Cant fault Kachungas work rate, but is that enough? Why not try Sadlier with Dion? Go on, do it. Say Kachunga played well. Be a man.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 22, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted October 22, 2022 Were the front men that bad, or was the initial formation, at least in part, the issue? Get that right and the whole team appears instantly more threatening.
barrycowdrill
Our front 2 don’t play as a partnership so why not go 4-3-3 and provide another option up there? amount of ball we have the full backs would still push on making it a defensive 3 ( 2 CBs and MJ) a forward thinking 4 in midfield and 3 up top

Ani
The fact we played with a really high tempo also made massive difference IMO
Jol_BWFC
Shit narrow pitches (Accrington, Cheltenham, FGR) are a different beast to large, carpet-like playing surfaces. I’d have no problem with him going back to 3 at the back and wingbacks for the next two home games. I’ll admit though, that formation does create a dilemma with Dapo. Always been a high tempo side. Going back as long as I’ve watched us

Kachunga did alright and nice to see him showing some passion and even a little aggression… been a long time coming, his scoring record though is fucking horrendous… No one would bat an eyelid if he left in January. Rizlar
Tempo is the key when we play slow from the back teams get men behind the ball play quicker and we would score more. I would like to see a front 3 of Sadlier Charles and Dapo with Dempsey and Morley behind them.

Its not often the sub is less effective than the subbed. If Kacha played well that's great. Loads of times the roles are reversed and Dadi has come on and looked a class above. waffer cup 07
I don't know what Sadlier has to do to get in the side. He's far more of a threat than Kachunga.

desperado
1 minute ago, barrycowdrill said: mean looking forward and certainly the next 2 home games Ok see what you are saying. There was no Bradley today. We hadn’t scored in God knows how many minutes, so he tried his preferred formation/tactics with attacking players. I can see Why he did that. It didn’t work, he changed it, we won. With Bradley back I could see why he might go with 3/5 again. Many won’t, and he’ll probably get absolute shit if he reverts back to his preferred formation. But we, as fans, shouldn't get too upset if he does.
Site Supporter barryk32 Posted October 22, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted October 22, 2022 I loved just how much Charles enjoyed that win. When we scored our first he was in the back of the net going fucking mental. I like to see that. Baka was the same after the final whistle.
