Gees could you imagine the spurs thread on Harry Redknappisms, I imagine all fans could pick up the popular phrases and repetitive vocabulary of their manager

Newcastle 1 Wanderers 1
He's had a busy week getting drunk at a do in a castle and heading up to Sheffield on behalf of his charity. I really hope this isnt having an effect on his performance. I like him, still feel he has something big to deliver this season, but he does seem a shadow of the fella who earned his Engloand call. The performance today was average. Holden didn't have the best of games and seeing as we have become so reliant on his influence it told when we couldn't make the one man advantage tell. Was surprised Coyle wasn't more attacking in his subs. But it's not a bad point. Onwards and Upwards. COYFWM

Birmingham City Fac Roll Call
Gutted. Under any other normal circumstances, out of the 4 slots available that early Saturday would be the best option. However it's my eldest's 6th birthday party. Sure we will get a great following supporting us on our way to Wembley COYFWM

Nat Lofthouse OBE - RIP
As every other post says LEGEND - RIP Was lucky enough to meet him on a number of occassions due to his friendship with my "pops" who lived next door to him on Thicketford road and took Nat to his first game at Burnden, he told me he would be forever indebted to my Granddad. I hope the 2 are sharing a laugh and a story together. As mentioned what a tribute it would be to fill out the Reebok on the 24th and pay our vocal respects.

Wanderers 1 Wiggin 1
Having been fortunate enough to get an invite into the players lounge before/after the game on Wed eve it was clear to see the captains job is more than what happens on the pitch. SKD is clearly respected by players, officials and fans. He is a great ambassador for the club/town with his charity work. As a few of the players wandered in in their jeans and cardigans the aura of SKD in his BWFC suit/tie was immeasuarble, he came over and had a chat and spoke respectfully and passionately about the club/fans/town. And as mentioned above on the pitch he can't be doing that bad a job considering our present position. IMO right man for the right job PS The way Klasnic was looking and talking I reckon he should be fit for Saturday!

Wigan Wigan Here We Come
Taking me lad to his first away game. Thinking of going on train, is it a walk away from ground, or do you need bus/taxi?

Impressed With Bwfc And Coyle
Apologies if anything has been posted on this but had a quick glance down the titles and can't see anything. Last year, and quite rightly so, folk were quick on here to lambast the fund day farce, where there were numerous things wrong including the no show from Megson and the players. This year I thought the fun day was spot on. It was great for the kids to see an open training session (hope the shooting boots are on next Saturday!)lots of activities going on and a large group of players went in to the club shop for autographs. Coyle was everywhere and prominent throughout the day both at the fun day and staff BBQ. It seems like the feel good factor is back at BWFC - let's hope this tranfers into a good result next Saturday and a good season.

Lancashire La La La
What train/metro combinations do folk use for Bolton to Old Trafford?

Get It Sorted Owen
Did you go to West Ham or Stoke Away? If you did I am baffled as to why you wouldn't be more excited. While there are obvious improvements which Coyle will be looking to improve on, the feeling of excitement, camaraderie, belief and overall positiveness was something I haven't felt for a good few years. Look forwards with some hope for God's sake not backwards. I am not saying Coyle is the answer to everything and that we don't have our problems, but surely most BWFC fans can find things to be excited about and if you can't you really are stuck in a rut.

Get It Sorted Owen
From above posts I tend to agree with what Jules and Ani have said. The only controversial addition I would make is, besides an absolute horror showing next season e.g getting cut adrift early or severe dressing room unrest, Coyle deserves to be given the maximum time allowed to manage our club. While we should all, Coyle I am sure would include himself in this, strive to achieve better and set challenging targets, I think it would be wrong to say a status quo (14th in the table) is a failure. There is nothing wrong with this thread because we all surely must have been unhappy with the 2nd half performance and we all want to see OC sort it out. It only becomes an issue if you loose the realistic expectations of what can be achieved by BWFC. While we can moan on here and try to express what our opinions are to achieve better, one thing which must remain constant is our support of BWFC and within that our relatively young, inexperienced but enthusiatic, motivated and comitted premiership manager. Coyles Away Form................
Happy now?

Wilshere
Well done OC for bringing in both Wilshire and Weiss. Weiss proved along with Taylor yesterday a match winner. And as for Wilshire he is our most consistent and gifted player getting more influential every game. Both of them have now played a major role in us avoiding relegation.

Stoke Away
Great post. Shaking off the hangover this morning with MOTD and Football First. It goes down as one of those memorable away wins, so glad I was there, our fans were terrific yesterday.

Play Up Pompey!
While in the main I was happy with Spurs getting beat and seeing a romantic cup result I couldn't help thinking does this effect us in any way? If we get some unlikely points against Chelsea/Stoke our game against Portsmouth won't be as important. But the liklihood is that this will be a massive game which we have to win, surely this would have been easier against a demoralised nothing to play for pompey rather than a re-vitalised highly motivated everyone playing for their cup final place side. All hypothetical and really regardless of Portsmouths state we should be looking to win that game and not be relying on the state of mind of our opposition.

Stoke Away
Oh Aye, in for this x 6 I asked at tiket office they were only around 500/600 mark could push to 1000 by end of week. Chance there won't be pay on gate so better get tickets soon if you are fancying it.

Chelsea 1 Wanderers 0
A shock 1 -1, late equalizer from us

Can Bolton Cause An Upset?
Thought I would resurrect this one in the hope that we can achieve the unthinkable and halt Chelsea's charge towards the title. As Coyle has been saying this morning I don't give a shiny shite where the title ends up, if we help prevent Chelsea winning the title by getting something tonight then that will be great. COYFWM

Fair enough, that's what I am doing for the next game.

Run In
Next week is massive. I honestly believe if we win we are safe. But lose going into 2 hard away games where I expect little if not nothing, then all of a sudden the others below may have pulled points back on us, we are well in the mix again and we are the out of form side down there! But even then I still think we would pull off a last day survival act. I am prepared for all eventualities and will back us even if it goes to the last game. But lets hope the much needed win comes next week and then I for one will feel we have done enough to survive.

Kids In The East Upper
It wasn't you MG was it Cheers for all your thoughts on this. Joking aside it's not my intention to name and shame and shop anyone to the Old Bill, I simply wanted to gauge reaction and I feel there has been a pretty balanced view. I see the argument of fight fire with fire and I may be tempted with this if it wasn't the fact that we go with family and the kids, the last thing I want to do is make things worse. Yatesy I will leave you with the "stares" to the young lad! (although if it was me seeing him first I would be tempted to just ignore him) Next week I have decided to transfer to NSU as I am taking the wife and youngest and she doesn't want to feel intimidated if we get the same reaction. When it comes to the last home game, which is when the original gathering are together again hopefully things will have calmed down and been forgotten and we will take stock then before deciding where to get our season tickets for next year. One things for sure we won't be put off coming down and our support will remain, as I am sure, after reading your thoughts on here, the majority of fans would have been more tolerant in the same situation.

Kids Ticket Esl
Yatesy can confirm if this is the case, but there are 2 spare kids (one of yours yatesy and one of ours) in our block for Villa game, I am using one and transfering to North Upper, if Yatesy confirms the other ones spare which he offered to me there may be one for Ani to use/transfer?
