I think Carson is a class keeper and would be happy to see him replace Jussi. If it were permanent. A year long loan deal would not be good, he would do well for a season, and then leave, and then we'd be screwed.

I never once compared Anelka and Borgetti. I just merely put somebody right when they said that Borgetti couldn't hack it in the premiership. IMO Borgetti would have scored more goals than Anelka this season, but I think that he wouldn't have created anywhere near the amount that Anelka has and that Anelka is better for our all round game. I would have liked to have seen them play together in a white shirt.

But if we didn't have wingers then what would our plan B be? You can't play 442 without wingers. Not well anyway. And anyway Nolan will be back to his best next year, and Andranik can do the running of about 3 players. That will do.

He will have chosen there because they have given him 2 years professional as well as the 2 years as a youth team player. This rules out the chance of going all the way to the age of 18 and then being dropped before turning pro. I don't know what the other clubs offered him, but when the former champions offer you a contract which guarentees that you will become a professional with them, there won't be many different offers that a 16 year old will choose. Good luck to him.

Borgetti wasn't given enough of a chance. As somebody has already said the amount of goals he scored, from the amount of games he played is pretty good. He did what we wanted, he scored goals, but Allardyce wasn't happy with that. I think this was one of Allardyce's biggest mistakes, he wanted Borgetti to run all match, track back and tackle, like Davies, but this wasn't what Borgetti was about. I know for a fact that throughout his time at Bolton he wasn't treated fairly at all and he just wanted a chance to prove what he could do. He was a very nice guy and talented footballer but he simply wasn't given enough of a chance. As for Healy I do think from watching him play for Northern Ireland, that he could do a job in the premiership, and for ?1m I don't think it is a very big risk.

For ?1m yes. I don't care how bad he has played for Leeds, I have seen how good he can play for Northern Ireland. There is no reason why he can only play that well for Northern Ireland and nobody else. For ?1m he is well worth the gamble. But it won't happen because he will follow Sanchez to Fulham.

Riquelme is world class. We don't have a hope of signing him. Any number of top European clubs would want him.

If we keep Ben Haim then I would much rather have, Ben Haim, Faye and Miete than those 3. And even if TBH goes then I would still prefer Faye and Miete to any of those 3.

Would be very happy with Davis. Not so happy with Beattie.

Boltonways where have you heard about these? I know about the speculation around JLloyd Samuel, but I haven't seen or heard anything about the other 2.

I wouldn't mind Richardson, but I don't rate Rossi. I would like to see us go after Jason Koumas, I've seen him play a fair bit this season and he looks a very decent player, also been rated as the best player outside the premiership. If WBA don't come up then I think he will want to leave and could be a realistic target.

Agree with all 4 of them. Lets hope Ben Haim will sign the contract we have offered. And there was another name on SSN that we have offered a contract to, is it the young right back? And does anybody know whether he is any good?

My dad was working at Christopher park yesterday, and the groundsman came out to tell him that Paul Jewel had resigned before anyone knew. When he told me and I heard Pearce had been sacked, I straight away thought he was going to City. But the groundsman also told my dad that Jewel has said he wants a break from football, as he has had family problems and he has massive problems with his nerves. For me he genuinley wants a break from football, but he will probably go and get the city job in a few days and make me look like a right d1ck.

I didn't think he did do too bad. He got past the full back a few times and worked some openings. But his finishing is the pits, he just hits it as hard as he can and hopes for the best. I would keep him for next season, along with Idan Tal, who I thought played well today.

Someone told me that there was a stomach bug going around the camp. So it could have been that, I can't see it being tactical.

If not full then very close to full IMO. And with Villa selling out I can see it being a good atmosphere, if we get an early goal then it will definitely be a good atmosphere.

I take it I am on my own with the fact that I would want him at the club. He is one of the best finishers ever to be in the premiership and for me he hasn't lost that. If a ball fell in the box, I would prefer him on the end of it than anyone in our team, including Anelka. Overall I would prefer Anelka in the team because he scares defenders with his pace and skill, but I still think Fowler could do a job for us. IMO he would score more goals than both Diouf and Davies have this season without playing a fraction of the games they have. He would add an extra option to a forward line, and would also add some quality to to the depth.

I want Wigan to stay up. I fcuking hate West Ham, they think they are such a big club, with the best fans in the world, who are mostly deluded tw?ts (apart from a few on here). And that song opf theirs pisses me off. Plus next year if they are still in the premiership they will challenge us more than Wigan, and Wigan is closer.
