Lisbon for a long weekend in April.....

Rome for a short weekend in May.....

Possibly further trips later in the year to Helsinki & Tallinn, as well as another weekend in Italy - fancy Verona or Genoa....

Lisbon done, 5 nights. Great city to visit.

Plenty hills, but has flat areas too. We were walking an average of 10km a day....

So many different cuisines to sample - we had Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Angolan (best meal), Argentinian, Nepalese & Hong Kong (shite)...

Had an afternoon out in Belem, worth a train ride...

Iberotel Palace adults only was very good in March.

If Fester is booking for his family it’ll consist of him, Mrs Fester and the teenaged Miss Junior Fester. Of those I’d say only Mrs Fester would qualify. Maybe Miss Fester at a push as well but Fester himself, not a hope! 🤣

I've never been to the Canaries and TBH never really wanted to, but am going to Tenerife in September on a stag do for one of the young (29) lads I play footie with along with a dozen or so other yoofs. It's only for 4 days and will be a nonstop piss up/clubbing do with me along as the token pensioner along with his dad who is still a spring chicken at a mere 64. Thing is I don't like lager and have taken to drinking spirits and coke zero to keep the weight down. So, do I assume the spirits will be distilled in somebody's kitchen? And can you get actual coke zero in Tenerife bars and clubs?

Should be fun if they behave themselves - which isn't going to happen - but seems a better option than Oktoberfest (yawn) which was the original plan.

They have branded drinks on the continent now that we've left the EU and you'll definitely get Diet Coke if not Coke Zero.

Coca Cola have got the Canaries well stitched up.

From 13th to 17th, after Vegas, LA, Pacific Highway, Yosemite and Sonoma

Jealous. Traf Tours put together San Fran and San Diego with a 4 day drive down the Pacific Highway in between but work has meant we’ve had to shorten it and just do the cities with a flight in between. Shame not in SF at the same time. Would happily have bought a fellow Wanderer a beer

Weather doesn’t look so good; cooler there than here! Only taking shorts.

@Traf the missus is mithering about florida with mainly Disney but also a few days with universal, say 10/4 split but no one does that. Looking at individual bookings and it is ridiculous money.

Is this something you can sort or are the best deals week at each for example?

Hadn’t looked tbh. Thought it would be fairly hot. Ta for the heads up. I’ll keep my eye on it

My brother lived in SF for 9 years, climate is pretty shit. Completely different outside Bay Area though.

Florida + Disney + Universal = £££££

but message me with your requirements, dates, etc and I’ll work something out for you.

Take her Disney Paris and have two other decent holidays for same money.

@Traf I'm looking at going to NY to see Billy Joel at MSG for his September show. Suggestions for flights / hotels / prices appreciated

Send me dates/duration/special requirements etc and I'll see what's what.

Cheers.
