Too negative?! We had 24 shots away at Charlton last week in the same shape. Plymouth scored 4 and Derby scored 3 playing 3/5 at the back. Every team in the top 6 plays 3/5 at the back so that isn’t a

Evatt mentioned back spasm so assuming it settles quickly, he'll be fit for Saturday

When he did it, the way he walked, the way he held his back, reminded me of when I did mine. If its anything like mine we won't see him again.

Poster above says he has been training.

Pleased to hear it. Don't always have time to check back through the other posts.

What will be interesting is when Johnston comes back - if that back 3 has been doing alright, is it Toal or Jones that make way?

Jones

We have selection problems again now...

Tradford

Jones Toal Santos Mbete (Johnston)

Bradley Isgrove John Williams (Iredale)

MJ Dempsey Sheehan Thomasson Morley

Lee Shoretire

Charles (Bodvarsson) Jerome Adeboyejo Nlundulu

How do you possibly pick a team and keep them all happy?

You can't, but at any given time a handful will not be able to be picked due to form/injury/suspension. You need 18 for a match day squad and from that list above 6 are unavailable right now, I think, leaving 17 to choose from.

You don’t have to keep them all happy; with the ones fit I would go with: Trafford; Toal Santos Jones; Bradley John; Dempsey Morley; Lee (or Shoretire); Charles Adeboyejo

There might be differences in fitness levels and quality of treatment? Unlikely, but possible?

This, for me too.

Decent team, that.

Same team for me too.

It's going to be interesting to see how Victor and Jerome fit in terms of the pressing, factoring in Jerome being 36.

We really do defend all the way up with Charles or Bod pressing very aggressively.

It appears than Nlundunu wasn't used to that and ended up injuring himself in the process of all the extra running.

Might take some getting used to for the new strikers

I think its suuuperb that you are sticking to this protest of not going to the game....hundreds of ticket offers once again.

You stick you your guns lads/lasses....

I'm with shoretire to start tomoro and Lee to replace him after 65.

Don’t worry, @Pablo will just be happy that there’s tickets spare and cheap to watch his home town club, eh pabbers? 😉

He really does.

When we were all talking of an experienced midfield enforcer, I got it, but I always thought Dempsey/Thomason could grow into that role - Dempsey as part of that midfield trio now gives us what we need in Midfield.

That experienced enforcer can come in a different form and I believe that’s what Jerome brings. And i dont mean he’s going to go around twatting everyone, or even that he’s influencing on the field every game.

But that experience, know how and professionalism, whether on the field or off, is just what we need at the moment.

Agree with all this. Particularly the experience bit.

Seen him a few times playing for Luton and thought he looked ok for them. Great signing imo.

Interesting comment about Dan Nl today. Speaks highly of him but says they had noted that he has dodgy hamstrings so the specially managed him.

Not great.

He’s only on loan.

Indeed, but we were said to be in a position to further it &/or take him permanently. Careful consideration will be needed.
