royal white
Has anyone heard about these or looked into them? At first I thought it was the usual Anti vax/Bill Gates/Chem trail lot that are concerned and talking about them but there seems to be a lot more. This was from a demo at Oxford over the weekend by those opposing.

Everything next one roofc It’s a city based on Phoenix Nights What are 15-minute cities? The concept behind a 15-minute city is pretty simple, really. It’s the idea that a town or city can be designed so that pretty much all the stuff you need in your daily life is no more than 15 minutes’ walk or cycle away. In other words, all your work, shopping, education, healthcare and leisure needs would be near where you live. The idea is to dramatically increase accessibility, as well as reduce traffic and car usage – essential to creating more environmentally-friendly societies. The idea of ’20-minute neighbourhoods’ is a variation of the same idea. And the idea has been around for years. One example of a place that has seriously entertained the idea of a 15-minute city is Paris, whose mayor Anne Hidalgo has led a huge campaign in recent years to build more public parks and cycle lanes. DirtySanchez
Oxford have tried to close the city centre to cars The abuse they've been getting is horrific, mainly from people who don't live in Oxford

mickbrown
The Bolton I grew up in was a 15 minute city. In 15 minutes I could walk to a park, a supermarket, 3 different schools, about 5 boozers, two chippys, a hardware shop, 2 bakers, 2 churches (one left footed, one proddy dog), a barbers, a butchers, 2 greengrocers, 2 newsagents, 2 hairdressers for the ladeeez, doctors, dentists and a bookies. Now I've moved away from Bolton I've got all those within 10 minutes walk now, with added restaurants and more boozers. It's the usual bellends being bellends for the sake of being bellends.
