realistically we probably won’t get anything next Friday but we need to improve after Wembley or we can forget playoffs

This is why drawing to teams like Morecambe ain't a point gained, you go into a big game with added pressure and we play terribly and gift them the win (they deserved to win anyway).

Mbete fucks up for the 1st goal and then Charles misses a pen and yet again we concede from a set piece and we have top of the league next which will be even more pressure and then when we more than likely lose that we go into a final in abysmal form.

The tactic of of our lcb and rcb curving a long ball into open space on the wing and asking our lone 2 st's to chase it and hope the opposition cb fucks up or something is terrible football imo, time after time Toal did when he had the ball.

Everytime Williams comes on btw, it's like he thinks he can megs the player who closes him down and it always fails, his momentum trying it takes him forward, then when he's intercepted the opposition have a breakaway.

Sheff Wed had a player sent off if we're looking for positives I guess and once that game is out of way at least on paper things should get 'easier' but we might be out of the playoffs by the time we play in the league again.

Totally disjointed just like the past 2 games and bullied like Derby away

Turning out jan transfer window was poor not one of them making a difference at the minute 

Lets all be honest, if we get to the play offs, i cant see us beating any of the teams that will be. Massive turning point today was the penalty miss. Different game if that had gone in.

Can't think of anything Shoretire has controbuted in the last four games. Not blaming him for today, just don't understand why he gets a start. But every one was extremely poor today. Wembley is definately a hugh distraction.

I think confidence has been dented in the last few games as other teams step up for the business end of the season and there were very few signs of the panache and level-headedness we played with a couple of months ago.

Evatt has a big job to do this week - and some key selection decisions to make IMO.    

We have gone through shocking runs before and bounced back. Can’t see it starting next Friday but let’s see we might go on one of them winning runs. Like Radcliffe said if we don’t make the playoffs then questions do need to asked

Evatt was out-managed today. Simple fact is Ipswich did a number on us. I'm not having it that we didn't turn up. Ipswich made us look bad. They high pressed us and basically made us rush our play all over the pitch. Zero continuity with our play. Well done them. We've not been at the races since Accy in the PJT semi. Enough time left in the season to make sure we don't fook it up completely. I'm still confident enough of making the playoffs and being a team to be reckoned with.

Half of them seem to already be on that rest period.

a draw or sneaky win at Sheffield and suddenly the season is back on track.

It’s a tough division this, and we’ve hit a dip in form at a really bad time.

Win the pizza cup after a rest, and we could easily go on a run that secures us play offs.

At that point, it’s a bit of a lottery.

Only Bradley came out of that with any degree of credit. We’re miles off and it shows against legitimate promotion contenders. We just don’t have the answers when we come up against them. 1 win at home v’s any of the top 7. 
 

if we make them it doesn’t matter who we get in the play offs as they will all turn us over over 2 legs.

top 6 and a final is a relatively successful season in a pretty difficult league 

Stop flapping. We have a good run to end the season. We will be the form team in the playoffs. 

Playoffs are a lottery. Anyone's game.

Their (expensive) players were quality all over the park and they  dominated the midfield, won second balls and challenges and rushed us into crap passes far too often for us to have any chance. Yes they made us look bad but they are a very athletic outfit with decent skill levels and to me it reflects on the fat transfer budget they had available.

As for us, we've got to be at the top of our game to compete with the more affluent clubs - and not drop points to the likes of Morecambe FFS,

Why? Shoretire cant play at Wembley, nor Vic!

Can gnash our teeth and wring our hands but the better team won today.

First half especially they pressed in numbers and we just didn't cope very well with it.

Very well taken first goal but Santos should have done miles miles better, second goal was a free header with not a marker in sight.

Morsy ran everything comfortably and they never let us settle as opposed to us having an off day.

The playing out from the back is so slow and laboured that it's putting us under unnecessary pressure and teams with an energetic press jump on it straight away.

Only real positive was that it wasn't as cold in the first half as it was in the second.

The guy from city looks limited poor pass that caused the goal hops Johnstone is back soon Saying toal had only played in Ireland is the better find .
Trafford ok keeper but nothing more at the minute ( might be in the future) don’t think he will be a massive whole to fill that some people think thought the Ipswich keeper today was excellent in all areas

Add Santos to that and it’s spot on.

No complaints better team won all teams know how we play this slow build up just doesn’t work against the better teams for me the Wembley final is a distraction and I worry we will come up short for the play offs.

As for all the new signings none of them have really improved us tbh!
