This Bolty. I actually think Posh could do Wednesday, the Owls really aren’t in good form and were apparently very lucky to beat Derby on Saturday. All the pressure will be on them, particularly at home, so I wouldn’t write off an upset either. Quote

Biggish Dave Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Derby's old men running out of steam at the end. I called that early on in the season Quote

Big time Charlie’s thought they were going to walk it even when they only had 5 players Quote

Can't sell them twice. If the club sell out to ourselves then it's a justified decision. Still the same money, but fewer of theirs making a racket. If not everyone turns out, then that's not the clubs fault. Quote

I get that mate what I’m saying is that the attendance figures are very misleading imo the test will be the home leg as those extra kids tickets not being used probably won’t buy one if the club sell out fantastic no complaints from me Quote
globaldiver Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Biggest game for years, here’s hoping we fill the place. Quote

Look, i hate to say this but i think radcliffes right If hes honest, he hates the clubs decision as theres 3k lessxaway tickets available, which i completely understand Back to how many we will sell, again, i think 20k would be very healthy as everybody has to pay Its not the end of the world for me, but ive just spunked 75 quid on 4 Quote

No heavily discounted tickets, but they’re only £20 anyway. Surely though if you’re a ST holder you ain’t going to miss going to a Play-off game - 3PM Saturday? Attendance will be circa 23K. desperado Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 I agree with @radcliffe white and @Casino 20k is my prediction too. 18k from us 2k from Barnsley. Which I’m fine with, it will be a decent effort. Would have preferred bigger away allocations as yet again we are due a ridiculous faster finger scramble again for the away tickets ☹️ Quote

Id rather have a tier of empty seats then sit next to a packed away end. Obviously it fucks up for away, you'll get in though Quote
Traf Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Tit for tat works for me. Give us 4k, you can have 4k. Give us 1500, you get the same. Quote

Yep completely agree. Like you said earlier I hope I’m wrong and its A 27k sell out at home - but I see 2/3k spare seats for each game in the “away ends” due to these restrictions, which just seems daft. Quote
gaztruman Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 £20 is a great price. You'd imagine that everyone who went to wembley for PJT would want to attend this so we should sell out really. Surely Barnsley will sell out their allocation too... Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 The away following thing is a bit of a red herring really when you think of the backing we’d get from 4k in the second leg Quote

I understand the view that not all have been turning up- I haven't been to all- but as a one off, if folk buy they'll turn up. If a season ticket holder can't come, they're not going to shell out, and they'll become available generally. Quote
