The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

Evatt won't be going anywhere

Evatt pledged to the club, at least till we get in the Championship. He will see the project through.

All depends how big the offer is and not just for Evatt but for FV too? Potentially big club Swansea if they get it right. That said I don’t think they’re really any bigger than us so unless the offers incredible I don’t think there’s much chance of him going there or anywhere else.

It’s about far more than money. By the sheer nature of a club sacking their manager, it creates a vulnerability for the next man which, rightly or wrongly, doesn’t apply to IE while FV are in charge.

Swansea aren't a big club

They should be shit hot at passing it 12 yards sideways, Keith Andrews is part of Wilder's coaching team.

Think Sheff Utd have the best chance of beating Derby's record more than any other shit team in the prem recently, can't remember a premier league team being this bad in recent history

They looked awful vs Burnley and could and probably should have conceded even more.

I thought they'd make a better fist of things. Looked decent last year.

That said, I always find Heckinbottom's interviews very uninspiring.

He seems honest enough, but almost like a kid in an adult world and out of his depth.

Sold their 2 best players though didn’t they and didn’t replace?

Cant be many teams that get promoted and then go into the next season with a weaker squad!

I still maintain that Leicester, Saints and Leeds of this year are better than Burnley, Luton and Sheff Utd - just a really funny year last year where those coming down from the prem were relatively ‘strong’ and the Championship was complete shite so it didnt take much to go up (which is a bit harsh on Burnley who did look a class above).

Dunno about sales.

They had a city loanee too didn’t they, who was very effective?

Aye theyve been playing a player up front who spent all last season on the bench.

Callers on TS were going mad about the owners last night. Not even attempted to stay up.

they'll be more of this to come, club like them will never break top 6 etc.

go up, spend nowt, go back down with the parachute money, more sustainable for the owners, instead of spunking loads to finish 17th

Burton manager sacked .

Managers that will do well to survive till New Years Day - not sure any will be allowed to sign players in January:  In order of who's most likely to go IMO:

Neil Stoke, Caldwell Exeter, Cooper Forest, Hodgson Palace, Ten Hag Man U, Simpson Carlisle, Bloomfield Wycombe, Wellens Orient, Flynn Swindon

Ainsworth will be back at Wycombe before the years out.

Job for Joey Barton so the media can keep telling us about Barton’s Burton.

Theres a burton twitter mon come up with his idea of realistic suggestions

Cowley brothers

Ainsworth

Duff

Id say they havent got a chance, but who knows

It seems much more Barton level
