Their natural position is somewhere between L1 and the Champ (IMO) ...

They are in their 23rd consecutive season in League 1.

Rarely looking like being either promoted or relegated. That takes some doing.

They have been in the Championship for around 8 seasons.

I Think they were promoted to the Championship the year that we beat them at Cardiff, we won all three games, 2-0, 2-0, and 3-0.

Ricketts came off the bench and scored in all 3.

Preseason fans poll had 90% of them wanting him gone, and they’ve lost their last 6 league games without scoring a goal.

He didn’t help himself earlier in the season because of some patronizing comments about the fans, so it was only a matter of time.

For balance, the opponents were Norwich, WBA, Southampton, Leicester and QPR last season, 2 were promoted and two were in the play offs, the other needed the points to stay up.  Then ex Prem team Sheff U.  You couldn't get a harder set of championship fixtures realistically, and he still had them finishing 10th.

I've no reason to defend him, but a hard act to follow if they think they'll get better.

No doubt he'll be back at Plymouth before Christmas!

Have to get a divorce first. Left in a hurry after getting caught out with the boss of the Naked Cleaning Company

Sounds like an episode of Fawlty Towers.

If she'd worn clothes, it might not have happened.

Heckingbottom in at PNE with McCall as assistant.

Let's see how many ex Sheff U players end up there in the next 10 days.

Stuart as he’s more affectionately known as at Bradford😂

Lennon sacked at Bucherest, only took over in May. Only did 6 games (no wins).

I imagine they were unprepared for his Mr. Angry act & his liking for extreme drinking.

May. He'll have barely managed to be fluent in Romanian.

I really rated Lennon with us till he gave up. His career as a manager is probably done now I suspect.
