Both please.

I like that you've mentioned plan B can't just be lumping it forward. I honestly have no idea what Evatt's thinking when we occasionally do this. Apart from Barnsley away it's usually an ineffective, desperate option. Instead plan B of playing fast, direct football on the floor, with a different formation to confuse the opposition would be great.

Exactly, that game vs Accrington where we switched Dapo to LW. Turned the game on its head. Yes that was Dapo's star position but definitely moving the formation around a bit makes it that players naturally find themselves in different spaces the opposition won't expect.

Here's hoping...

Some managers tinker too much with that sort of thing so definitely shouldn't be a 'oh we're losing, let's switch it up completely'

Evatt to Burnley? 👀

If he did leave us for someone else you know he's getting that team promoted at the first time of asking

Given his managerial record thus far, it's insane to me that a club as savvy as Bayern has appointed Kompany as manager

He was their 4th choice, but aye, definitely seems like a gamble

One that could cost Harry Kane silverware

I can see it working personally. They are bound to win something next year with that squad.

It shows that the market for elite managers is small but I think he would be a good fit and speaks the lingo which is a big Bayern requirement I believe.

Just read Bayern paid £15m to "sign" Kompany

Twice what city did

One of the most expensive managers of all time

Bayern also paid £21m to get Nagelsmann from Leipzig then sacked him 2 years later and he turned then down this time before they got Kompany

Chelsea paid £21m for Potter and £13m for Boas

Leicester paid £9m for Rodgers!

And those fees don't include what they pay them to leave half way through their contracts.

As if Burnley didn't have enough parachute money to get promoted again, they are handed £15mil, it hardly matters who they appoint they can't fail to go up surely.

Craig Bellamy to Burnley

SSN

He's already there, caretaker this

But he was Kompany's assistant at Burnley and Anderlecht so you'd have thought he'd be off to Bayern too

How much are helicopters back? Strikes me as a home bird. Might be wrong

'Home' in Bellamy's case being Cardiff. So being in Burnley a couple of years will have been a wrench.

He famously used to get a helicopter back to Cardiff when at Blackburn or Newcastle. I suspect he may not be in the position to do it as much now.

if he's flying between Munich and Cardiff, I hope Mark McKay & Cardiff City are arranging his flight 😉

Obviously tongue in cheek. Would have thought you wouldn't be so sensitive. You must have watched The Comedians.

Tongue in cheek nothing and it’s not about being sensitive. Two people died and that’s neither funny nor something to joke about.
