The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

Two weirdly inconsistent things struck me on hearing this news:

1. I think we'd have more chance going up with Bruce than IE

2. I really wouldn't want Bruce as our manager.

I've really confused myself there.

That picture is fucking terrifying

Whereas this one, from theclub’s website, screams either, “I’m being arty” or “I maybe should’ve centred him in the photo”

I’m not sure which.

Stoke potted Schumacher

I’d like him

Some clubs just have no patience, he’s only been there five minutes. He certainly did a job with Plymouth and I’m sure he’d get more out of our lot than IE looks like doing. He’d do for me despite being a scouser! 🙂

Aye, I’m not quite in Evatt out territory just yet, but as a replacement he certainly fits and if that happened I wouldn’t be disappointed.

I'd personally love it to happen

We won't have to rip everything up and he's proved he can get teams out of this league

Outclassed, out-thought and outplayed at Wembley.

I didn't realise the appalling human being Jonathan Walters is the 'Sporting Director' (no, me neither) at Stoke.

Suggestions that these two were never a fit.

Schumacher will have his eyes upward tbh, maybe even Everton, but I'd be interested.

Only to beat us to promotion 2 months later.

Evatt swap?

He likes it at the hotel.

Apparently :) 👀

We'd have all wanted Schumacher sacked after a 4-0 defeat at Wembley!

And after losing 5-0 on the final day to drop out of the play-off places the season before

Schumacher or Ryan Lowe though?  Clearly they are both going to be going for the same jobs!

No we wouldn’t. Let’s be honest, it was a great day but no one gives a fuck about the result. I’d of took promotion all day.
