The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

Yeah, too early in his managerial career to really know either way

It doesn't necessarily mean he won't win the league at a canter though

Looks a decent appointment that one.

@green genie happy?

Apart from the ManU connection looks a good choice. Looks like our flirtation with long ball game was short lived and could get best out of some of last summer’s signings.

Hopefully he’s learnt from Watford sacking not to jump ship at first opportunity if he is successful.

There goes my soft spot for Brentford

This is bizarre if true.  I don't think he's even been an assistant manager never mind manager.  What are Brentford thinking, have they forgotten they're in the Prem and can attract top names from the UK and abroad?

Thought he was just a shit pundit.

Absolute madness if true, they’d be better off giving it to Evatt.

I just read that he's currently their set piece coach

Yes he is. He might be the best set piece coach in the world but you'd want a bit more than that on his CV before giving him a Prem management job.  He'll be another that won't have anything to fall back on when they lose 3 on the trot and the natives get restless.

Meanwhile Stevie Gerrard is in the frame for the coincidentally named 'Stevie Gerrard's Middlesbrough'.

If it goes to Rob Edwards, or Steve Cooper that's going to be awkward.

Doing a great job at that to be fair to the prick. A few times last season the players all piled over to celebrate with him when one of his set pieces worked.

aye, apparently he's held in high regard at the club

I'd still be looking for someone with a bit more experience though

could make for a tough campaign next season

I’d hope any team he’d managed would be relegated for giving him a job.

Can’t stand that prick, willing for him to fail but quite like Brentford. Hopefully be playing em season after next if he gets the job.  (although they’d probably beat us)

no, he was also a shit, overrated , overpaid footballer too

Such a shame. I've fully respected Brentfords rise & their attacking football.

If that bloodsucking leeach gets to manage them I fear it'll go to shit.

Cardiff appointed Brian Barry Murphy, he was coaching at Ruud Van Nistelrooy's Leicester.

Was U23s boss at City for 3 years so no doubt can get a few favours from Pep.

... and another door closes for Mr. Evatt.

If Andrews is so good at what he currently does why has Frank not taken him to Spurs with him?

Mind boggling if he gets the managers job.

The cunt.

Wilder sacked at the Blades, cant believe that although there was some concern over comments made in an interview after their game against Wednesday which might have helped. I think they’ll live to regret that decision.

Probably cheaper to sack him than keep paying the FA fines for his man baby antics.

Haha it’s quite funny.

He's a massive prick, that fella.
