Zico Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 really hope IE gets the Blackpool job will be interesting to see how he gets on in terms of if he's learnt anything from his time here, if he changes anything, etc and then what the Blackpool fans will make of it when they have an "ex-legend" in charge, if things don't get as well as they'd like wouldn't look forward to playing them though Quote

Russell Martin has been sacked as Rangers head coach after only 17, mostly shite, games in charge. Just watched this weekend’s Sportscene and TBH lowly Falkirk battered the Huns with an impressive attacking performance. Scott Arfield, now 36, played really well in his new role - didn’t score in this game but he’s bagged 9 in 19 games. The Huns are a mess and their fans are delusional. All the blame falls on Martin but TBF their players just aren’t good enough, bar Jack Butland. Quote

Surely hard to make a case for Rangers not having the players that are better than Falkirk who've just been promoted. And if they are that bad, Martin has probably signed most of them - reportedly 14 signings this summer costing over £30mil. Quote

Martin dropped him for most of August and it looked like he wanted to leave along with Butland, but it’s gone so badly both are now playing. But Tavernier is past his best now and looked a shadow of himself against Falkirk. Quote
