The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

If he doesn’t get this one then he’s not getting a job any higher than L2 next

Talk about Holloway going back too.

Wycombe already sacked him and appointed Mike Duff

Good point, forgot about that 😀

He's not doing much better yet.

really hope IE gets the Blackpool job

will be interesting to see how he gets on in terms of if he's learnt anything from his time here, if he changes anything, etc

and then what the Blackpool fans will make of it when they have an "ex-legend" in charge, if things don't get as well as they'd like

wouldn't look forward to playing them though

Their fans were ironically cheering sideways and backwards passing and booing their keeper playing it to their centre half on Saturday apparently.

I get your point, but I really hope the narcissistic shyster never works again.

Fucking hell a choice between Evatt's sideways and backwards bullshit and Ian 'Colin Hunt' Holloway.

they should get Holloway back.

Evatt as his fluffer.

He wouldn't move back up here. Doing well with Swindon isn't he?

Talking of the Pub League ... Russell Martin has been sacked as Rangers head coach after only 17, mostly shite, games in charge.

Just watched this weekend’s Sportscene and TBH lowly Falkirk battered the Huns with an impressive attacking performance. Scott Arfield, now 36, played really well in his new role - didn’t score in this game but he’s bagged 9 in 19 games.

The Huns are a mess and their fans are delusional. All the blame falls on Martin but TBF their players just aren’t good enough, bar Jack Butland.

James Tavernier?  I've always thought he looks decent, even before he moved up north.

Surely hard to make a case for Rangers not having the players that are better than Falkirk who've just been promoted.  And if they are that bad, Martin has probably signed most of them - reportedly 14 signings this summer costing over £30mil.

Rangers fans dislike him, even though he's bailed them out of draws and defeats so many times over the years with late goals.

Rangers fans like Scott Arfield

Stevie G might be going back to Rangers.

Martin dropped him for most of August and it looked like he wanted to leave along with Butland, but it’s gone so badly both are now playing. But Tavernier is past his best now and looked a shadow of himself against Falkirk.

Russell Martin on the outs at Rangers. Some local weirdos will be sad about that.

Aye, I am sure that Celtic fans would have preferred him to stay.

Likely to be replaced by Gerrard. Perfection would be Big Sam.

Jim Radcliffe has announced that Amorim deserves 3 years to get the project sorted. Excellent news.

Be gone by November then.
