I think we lost a bit of impetus when we brought off maghoma.  Second half we were really good but I'd of taken a point so can't be too disappointed.

I’m more pointing out the luxury we have yes I agree let’s press on and do these however we’ve done the hard work in gaining ground back it’s a good position to be in

As good as a 0-0 can be that

Both sides attacked and defended well

Still top

All good

Sounds like me!

Fair result, but we could have nicked it at the death with Tommo.

Baxter MOtM for the first hour.

I'll take it but sounded like we battered them.

Didn't concede at all in November, excellent.

Wouldn't have taken Paris off, lost any retention in that final 3rd.

But thats a fantastic point and we ran the 2nd half.

Take it all day long.

We could've, perhaps should've, won it in the second half, but they were a threat throughout and I'd have taken a 0-0 before kick-off

Don't want to knock Vic, but fuck it I will, Bod far and away the better player.

A tough gig after the Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday.

Overall, we have to be happy with that.

Aye

Agreed. He was looking good in the pocket at times. Good second half though.

Bod looked class at times again, would love to see him start against Pompey.

Great point all round though

Might of been protecting him from the suspension if he got a yellow and Dempsey is a good replacement

Nights like tonight you realise how good Santos actually is.

Maghoma is on 4 cards

I want him playing v pompey

Will take that. Huge game next

It was a good point important we didn’t lose after Saturdays win and equally important we retained top spot. Pompey next bring it on.

Echo what has already been said. Really good point that against a very good and dangerous team, at their place.

Easy to concentrate on the chances we didn’t convert but they had plenty themselves and although I think we just about edged it, I think a point is fair. Quality though when we turned the screw for 20 mins in the second half and they couldn’t live with us, shows how good we are when we click.

Fair play to the defence, and mainly Baxter for another clean sheet.

Another game ticked off and we’re still top of the league!

I'm wondering if the "data" was saying Paris was showing signs of potential injury- IE talks about such information.

Or maybe he was happy to lose a bit of that running with the ball, for a touch more steel, and not wanting to concede.

Happy with that point, also keeps Oxford on a relatively poor run with 9 points from last 7 games.  Maybe they'll fade away a bit after Christmas and make our job easier?  That's not for tonight though, just happy to maintain the gap and the good run.

Great point

my opinion wont change on vic & Dan

Maghoma & GT stand out

plenty of faces tonight

He'll be absolutely exhausted after playing 2 cup games before then while Vic gets a rest 😀

JDB brings a new dimension to our forward play.

Just a shame that Charles never gets more than 10 minutes with him.

Great point, good that Peterborough and Stevenage both drew as well.

Noticed Pompey are the only L1 team in action on Saturday, away to Northampton, possible that we might drop to 2nd before we play them, but Northampton could also do us a big favour.

Regardless, we got nothing to fear, we're the best side in this league when we're at it, let's show it at Fratton Park

Edited by Lostock Whites

I can't see Bod getting much of a look in beyond the odd late cameo, especially whilst results are good

We paid a six-figure fee for Vic and signed him to a long-term contract so I think we'll be sticking with him

Tale of 2 goalies - both excellent

would have taken a point prior to kick off

maghoma excellent

vic poor

iredale a bit wasteful on some great opportunities

still top

great following
