was in the upper tier

never known anything like being that high up at a game before then

missed kick off becasuse the bloke driving hit the M61 and went into auto pilot mode and headed north without realising until we were nearly in Preston

So was I, and one of our party took a scouse forehead to the nose. As the rest of us were negotiating the best way to the East Lancs, poor Alex was saying (through a bloody scarf) whats the best way to Townleys.

reminds me of a City fan at work donkey's years ago (30 + years) when I asked him about his trip to Everton a decade earlier. "They set fire to me scarf" he moaned. I pointed out that nicking scarfs was common back then and who could say what they did with it after they nicked it. "No, I was still fucking wearing it when set they set it on fire!" was his reply.

Appeal incoming over the points deducted.

Were we allowed one ?

I honestly can't remember

What would our grounds of appeal been? 😃

Fuck all to appeal when it was us

Give us -100 points, send us down, demolish the new ground, sell / sack all non-local lads, and join NW counties.

Done.

That seems fair enough 😁

No need to demolish the new ground- Liverpool might want it for reserves.

Not for going into administration because it's automatic

The EFL appealed when we received suspended points deductions for abandoned matches though

And to be fair, I can see why because we effectively got away with it
