So Crewe v Crawley at Wembley.

Is this first ever match (between teams not from the same city/town) in a Wembley final whose names begin with the same first two letters?

Nope

In (admittedly shite) Ted undies style a vessel was full to the brim back in the day

Crawley were excellent, played football the right way. Liam Kelly bossed the midfield.

MJ only on the bench - and some thought we were wrong to offload him. Did nothing other than a trademark booking when he came on

Looked laboured and seemed to be dragging his leg whilst 'running'.

May 2018 Brackley town Vs Bromley (FA Trophy Final)

May 2000 Earl Soham Victoria vs Eastleigh (Carlsberg Pub Cup Final)

May 1992 Stoke vs Stockport (Autoglass Trophy Final)

April 1984 Stanstead vs Stamford (FA Vase Final)

April 1944 Charlton vs Chelsea (Football League South Cup Final) (Same City I know, but the name of the city not in their names).

Feb 1929 Old Malvernians vs Old Cholmeleians (Arthur Dunn Cup 2nd round replay)

Nov 1928 Cambridge United vs Casuals (Friendly)

The sheffield clubs meeting, and the Manchester clubs meeting.

My Uni mate, and former opponent in school games as he went to QEGS in Blackburn, John Waddicor, played in that for Stamford.
