The Final

Did wealdstone last year I wouldn't say it is a 5 min walk to tube. We got a taxi. If you are driving best bet is do wealdstone Then drive to tube and pay to park on station saves messing at end. We certainly get a warm welcome there and it is easy to get a pint and some scran but it wasn't for me .

Just had a look at Bolton v Oxford match highlights on YouTube and apart from the game we won 5-0 this season, where Oxford wore a similar colour to our Community shirt, it seems White v Yellow is the norm.

Anyone complaining about not being able to differentiate between the two are in danger of being held in the same disregard as the ManU players who claimed not to be able to see each other in those grey shirts.

White v Yellow in both legs of Leeds/Norwich play off too.

FWIW I sympathise with colour blindness, probably looks like both teams are playing in white and it doesn't help that both teams shorts are dark blue!

Not long to go now this week has dragged really can’t wait

must say I’m chilled about the game personally I think it will end up like the PNE final

Yep, agree about the outcome. I’ve felt more confident about it as the week’s gone on.

Surprised that it’s dragged though, with you working so hard, like.

Anyone parking at Stanmore and doing pubs away from Wembley?

Just tryna work out which is the best location for boozers out of West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage or St John’s Wood if anyone has any recommendations?

Don’t wana venture any further central than the above as already parking North so would mean additional travel time going back on ourselves…

I’ve got the same feelings I had prior to Wembley last year. I was in no doubt we’d beat Plymouth. I’m going 3-1. Not nervy at all. Looking forward to a but a few beers in London tomorrow afternoon in a few favourite haunts

In that part of the world :

Hampstead
St Johns Wood  (Duke of York)
West Hampstead
Primrose Hill
Belsize Park
Swiss Cottage

In that order, IMO.

Can't see this having any clashes with our shirt tbf and I'm colour blind as fuck.

West Hampstead you've got the railway and the gallery. The latter is more a foody type, IPA type pub

On kilburn high road you've got the north London tavern which is decent

Swiss Cottage you've got the swiss cottage, a sam smiths pub, but I'm barred from there 😃

Christ on a bike… I’m on a train. Don’t know what time yet. I’ve got two offspring, u15 and 17-21. I might want a maccies

Do I need to book?

Where do I take them?

Seriously though, where do we head? Fancy a few but not nailing it from the off- want to absorb as much as they can whilst down there. Had a decent Spoons in Camden without them, but now I’m going cross eyed

Sounds like everyone is going to be all over the place pre-match. Which normally suits me down to the ground, but we’re fancying a bit of atmosphere pre-match and yet it somehow sounds unlikely.

Can kinda see why Sunderland chose to mob up at Trafalgar Square.

Ruislip tube is 0.4 miles from Wealdstone's ground.

10mins max walk and if that's too far, there's a pub nearby.
