Popular Post barrycowdrill
Honestly, I probably like many others on here do Wembley quite often. To the point where I’d become quite normalised to the place. Almost treated it like going to the Reebok every other week. but Jesus Christ I’ve been absolutely fizzing all week. There’s absolutely no greater feeling, sense of excitement, anticipation, hope or just down right dread about watching your club side at that place. It could be watching us in a coin toss and I would be there preying we called it right. The many many lows we have experienced over the past few years all pale in to insignificance when we’re building up to watching them white shirts walk out of that tunnel. batton carrier
Did wealdstone last year I wouldn't say it is a 5 min walk to tube. We got a taxi. If you are driving best bet is do wealdstone Then drive to tube and pay to park on station saves messing at end. We certainly get a warm welcome there and it is easy to get a pint and some scran but it wasn't for me .

Anyone complaining about not being able to differentiate between the two are in danger of being held in the same disregard as the ManU players who claimed not to be able to see each other in those grey shirts. White v Yellow in both legs of Leeds/Norwich play off too. FWIW I sympathise with colour blindness, probably looks like both teams are playing in white and it doesn't help that both teams shorts are dark blue! I’ve felt more confident about it as the week’s gone on. Surprised that it’s dragged though, with you working so hard, like.
Le Howfen
Anyone parking at Stanmore and doing pubs away from Wembley? Just tryna work out which is the best location for boozers out of West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage or St John’s Wood if anyone has any recommendations? Don’t wana venture any further central than the above as already parking North so would mean additional travel time going back on ourselves…

I was in no doubt we’d beat Plymouth. I’m going 3-1. Not nervy at all. Site Supporter Alf Hartigan Posted May 16 Site Supporter Share Posted May 16 We’re going Black Lion in West Hampstead. 12-2.15 table booked. Won’t be full of footy fans though but it’s a good pub. Only 15 mins away from Wembley

frank_spencer
The blue stripes will really help tbh, if it was plain yellow then I could see an issue but not with this shirt.

The latter is more a foody type, IPA type pub On kilburn high road you've got the north London tavern which is decent Swiss Cottage you've got the swiss cottage, a sam smiths pub, but I'm barred from there 😃
Dr Faustus
Christ on a bike… I’m on a train. Don’t know what time yet. I’ve got two offspring, u15 and 17-21. I might want a maccies Do I need to book? Where do I take them? Seriously though, where do we head? Fancy a few but not nailing it from the off- want to absorb as much as they can whilst down there. Had a decent Spoons in Camden without them, but now I’m going cross eyed
Leyther_Matt
Sounds like everyone is going to be all over the place pre-match. Which normally suits me down to the ground, but we’re fancying a bit of atmosphere pre-match and yet it somehow sounds unlikely. Can kinda see why Sunderland chose to mob up at Trafalgar Square. Ruislip tube is 0.4 miles from Wealdstone's ground. 10mins max walk and if that's too far, there's a pub nearby.
